Because they're ceramic, I say yes. Because they are so small, I hand-washed them, but I would not hesitate to put them in the dishwasher. These sauce dipping dishes are made of ceramic.
I wouldn't put these in the microwave (aside from a sponge to kill germs - I don't use the microwave for anything else). All food is denatured when it is heated in a microwave oven). Because the dishes are so small, whatever you put in them will almost certainly spill out.

These bowls are perfect for dipping sauces! The blue glaze/finish is far superior to what I had anticipated. They have a nice feel to them. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend them to others. br>I have a confession: when I sharpen my pencils manually (for math, drawing, etc. ), I wanted a small receptacle for the shavings. These are excellent. For this, I only use one of the four bowls. The graphite and wood can be easily removed with this finish. If we have guests over for dinner, I'll wash out the pencil shaving receptacle and use it while the Mrs. and guests get the other non-electrical items. Bowls made of pencils! LOL.
Tea, all the time, and usually with infusers rather than teabags. She uses so many infusers that she has four or five of them. This house, which is essentially a tea shop, usually has them all on at the same time. On the plus side, it has a wonderful aroma! However, if you've ever used a tea infuser, you'll know that when you remove it from the cup, it's important to remove it quickly to avoid the drink becoming too strong. When steeping, the metal is hot and usually still dripping, so you may want to re-steep depending on the tea. Take your leaves and steep them! So you'll have to leave the infuser out somewhere with the leaves in it, dripping, presumably. It's clear that it can't go on the counter right away. My roommate's solution has been to take the lid of a recyclable, such as the top of an empty cream cheese container, and leave it on every surface in the house for the past several years. I'm not against repurposing items, saving the environment, or anything like that, but this just looks bad at this point. Especially when the infuser is washed and put away, but the little tea-stained trash is all over the place, and I'm not allowed to recycle them because then where will the infuser go? Or a teabag that is too hot to be thrown away without melting? Enter: This is a set of these lovely little things. We were able to keep our lease because of these. Among a slew of other non-related concessions. They're also great for sauces and dipping when the occasion calls for it, but they're mostly used for what I bought them for: under tea baskets. I have one that I keep under my coffee hand-drip for the same reason. They're attractive, long-lasting, and the ideal size, plus they're incredibly easy to clean. Thank you for giving us five stars.
These are absolutely stunning, exquisite small plates. This will be an excellent addition to our sushi night! They're exactly 3" across, with the interior diameter just a smidge smaller. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, and it is extremely well-made!.
These pieces are very appealing and appear to be well-made, but the size is inaccurately represented. I needed something that had a 3-star rating. The diameter is 4 inches. They are advertised as having a diameter of 3 inches, but the inside diameter is closer to 2 1/2 inches. A half inch can make a big difference in a bowl this size. I would have probably passed on these if I had known.
With these accessories, I've been able to transform my takeout Japanese dinners into a real treat.
These are ideal for the job because they will not show tea stains and can be washed in the dishwasher. They are exactly as shown on the website; they are small, but could be used for a single person's sauces or ketchup, for example. I'm glad I found these.
I placed an order for two. Although I requested a 5 inch, I was given a 2 inch instead. It's not worth the trouble to send them back, but they're far too small for their intended use. Although the product appears to be of good quality, I am disappointed that the size was incorrect.
THIS WAS FOUND AND IT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! This flat, small bowl is adorable. I found this after breaking the one next to my bathroom sink. It's exactly what you're looking for. There are three more in case my fingers catch this one and send it to the floor as well. But because it's flat, it's much less vulnerable.
