Yes. It is the ideal present. My wife cried tears of joy when I gave her this sushi plate as a Christmas present. It reminded her of where we met for the first time, she said. The color and glaze are lovely, but each plate has deep scratches, which is surprising considering how well it was packaged. As a result, we believe they were packed and shipped in this state.
