While I appreciate that, the reason I purchased Royal Albert is because I searched for " tea sets made in England" and Royal Albert kept popping up in the search Because of this, I foolishly assumed it was made in England. However, as it turns out, it is now hard to find a tea set made in England. In my opinion, I give it a low review because I would have appreciated knowing that it wasn't actually made in England. No offense to China or anything, but I just was hoping Royal Albert was English made, mainly because the price I paid for it was so high.
I am disappointed.
At first sight, I thought it was for a tea set for children. I only paid a little attention to details since I was recommended by a friend I apologize for my oversight but the size wasn't mentioned in the item It is lovely, but I am not sure if I would buy another one. Give as a gift only to collectors and those who recognize the size, unless the recipient is already a collector.
As a gift for my tea-loving mom, I gave this to her for mothers day. The package was packaged very well and the color was very nice. In terms of size, the cup is rather dainty and small, but I guess that's just the style of this Giving a nice gift is always a good idea.
