A small dent appeared on the bottom, but I didn't think it was a problem. I do not have an issue with that. This cup is not dishwasher safe, despite the fact that it is advertised that way. This is the sixth wash. My mug came off a lot of the white coating after washing it six or seven times. I found I had to do the same thing after washing it again. It is low-quality Despite the quality of the coating, it is not worth the 30 dollars if you only use it 10 times. It is disappointing to me since both of my other tumblers are from this brand and neither were affected by paint or coating issues as this product was.
