These plates seem to be very strong! I really like the lip on the plates. It is not so high that it is a bowl, but it is tall enough to prevent things from sliding off.

I have had no problems using them. According to my nutrition coach, these are the right size to help me maintain a healthy portion size. Foods such as salads can be easily held by the deep sides. It was a little worrying to me that the red sauce might stain them as it sometimes does with other "plastic" items, but it came off easily. Neither stains nor residues remain in the product.
