This kind of thing appeals to him because he loves Japanese Pinks and pastels are two of my favorite colors. This looks great in my pastel kitchen while also giving him a small portion for his tiny meals. This quality and the fact that I only wash them by hand make me very happy.

I just love these little bowls - they are adorable! Our homemade fried rice is a hit with this ingredient. Ice cream is a great use for these. Our initial order for them happened because we needed some kind of rice bowl and were surprised to find them to be so beautiful. They have been in the microwave and have worked great, but we have not yet put them into the dishwasher Since they are so comfortable, we are hand washing them. Although these dishes could probably go in the dishwasher, we like them, so we are hand washing them.

The bowls are so tiny that they aren't functional

There is nothing wrong with these bowls, but they are rather small. If you are on a very strict diet, then you can't eat any of the rice or cereal in them! The bowls cost $5 each for $20, so they are not worth the price. Also, it is so hard to return anything to Amazon I guess I can't really return anything to.
