The lid keeps the water hot while the noodles cook, and then it holds a variety of condiments, such as pickled vegetables, sesame seeds, sprouts, dipping oil, and so on, to enhance your slurpy pleasure once the noodles are done. Vegetables and an egg/meat slice have plenty of room to be added. The only caution is to avoid filling the bowl to the level of the chopstick holes, as this will cause it to overflow. But, amirite? That's a whole lot easier to deal with than the disaster that occurs when you use your chopsticks to poke a hole in your soggy paper ramen bowl while chasing the last fish ball.
I've only had it for a few days and have only used it twice, but so far I haven't had any issues. br>br>It's heavier than I expected, but that's not a bad thing, and the lid fits well on the bowl itself, and it can hold my ramen with additions without being too full (you just have to be aware of where the liquid line is before adding eggs and other things, but I haven't had an issue because most of my ramen has under 2 cups of broth). When the bowl is hot, I like that I can move it by lifting it with the chopsticks, but I wish the chopsticks that came with it were a little longer (they work fine, and I have other chopsticks, so it's not a big deal).
This bowl is stunning. It's well-balanced, with little play in the lid when it's closed. I bought this as a surprise gift for my wife, simply because she is who she is. She enjoys ramen, and I like to dress it up for her with diced green onions, sour cream, and half of a hard boiled egg, which the portioned lid perfectly holds while also keeping the heat in. Keep in mind not to overfill it. br>br>The graphics are solid, the colors are vibrant and beautiful, and they even have a raised surface.
The bowls are beautiful, and I ordered two of them. I returned the chipped bowl and ordered a replacement after discovering that the first one had chips inside. The new bowl's lid was chipped. Because of the chips, I will not order any more.
My daughter, who enjoys Ramen, received this as a gift. It's her favorite present of all time! It's the ideal size for all of the extra ingredients you can add to Ramen soups, as most bowls on the market are much smaller and can't hold much. br>br>The designs are lovely, and the chopsticks are also a good size. When the soup is in the bowl, it is warm, but not scalding hot and uncomfortable to hold. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!.
When I eat ramen, I always use it. It can hold a regular bag with a lot of meat and rice, as well as some water. It's important not to overfill it, or it'll leak out the sides:.
I had the impression that this bowl was about the size of a coffee cup. The fact that it's so big surprised me. For my birthday, I decided to spoil myself. The seller has a great price, and it's so lovely that you could leave it out on the counter and stare at it all day. The only drawback is that the paper sticks to the chopsticks, but that will come off after a while. The dividers on top were the main reason I bought it.
It was very well received by my daughter. She makes ramen with it almost every day. It's a substantial bowl that won't easily break. It appears to be very sturdy, and the bowl design is quite lovely!.
