Raw Sugar Cane Swizzle Sticks - Pack of 20

Sugarcane has been my favorite food around the world for the past few decades. When I was 15, I went to Hawaii for the first time and attended a luau. I also participated in a ritual when I was in the 4th grade. A fresh cane of sugar is one of my favorite things. Taking into account the fact that this was being shipped, I knew it probably wouldn't be 100% fresh, HOWEVER, this smelt old and a bit old, as if it had been sitting on the shelf for a while. There was no packaging information on the vacuum package, and the vacuum packaging had little moisture. Even though I bought it for the purpose of being a stir stick in my tea, I am still going to use it for that as I am trying to cut my sugar intake down, and these are the easiest ways to do that, especially since they are old than what I had expected. These products are a buyer beware product no information is provided on the packaging, almost a mystery package if you forget what you ordered since everything comes together and there are no details at all.

I could smell the unpleasant smell of spoiled sugar cane as soon as it was opened. Ok, if that's what it's supposed to smell like, then I won't shop for it Despite soaking it in cool, clean water, I was unable to get it to work. I couldn't have a good mojito because of the odor and taste.

There was an old taste to the sticks! On top of that, they still had much of the outside attached to them that could not I bought these for my 10-year-old grandson after he begged me to. The diet-conscious man wanted to nibble on something sweet on his diet. Once he tasted one, he was done with them. The experience was the same for me, as well. I also did not like the outside still on them they were really too skinny to shave off. It was a big disappointment.

It would be nice if they were individually wrapped so I could use them in smaller amounts as needed. There is a good amount of cut and thickness on each stick, and they are all pretty much the same size. I am so excited to try them out!.

It didn't impress me that much. It appears that the sticks were cut unevenly, probably by hand. It was rustic, but I would have preferred machine-cut sticks. The shrimp were too large and fat for some, while the thin ones were too thin for them. They came in an airtight bag, but were quite bland in flavor, as though they had been sitting in the warehouse for a while.

It was out of desperation that I ordered it after reading all of the negative reviews about it. I didn't find it to be rotten as some reviewers claimed. However, it served my needs and was good enough to serve as is, not as fresh as it could have been.

4 out of 4 parrots recommend this product. I bought them for them as a treat. In Kaytee's case, purchasing a package online led to an unknown inconvenience and the product never arrived at their store Having tried a line I thought was "less than fresh", I decided to check this brand out All of us enjoy the sticks after I cut them in half.
