Simply drench the sponge in juice. It should last for the rest of the evening, after which you should simply wash it out.
Yes, the sponge can be taken out for cleaning because it is loose within the space.
A black, fitted sponge is provided for the lime juice side.

Making Margaritas is a breeze with this tool. I have a similar unit with three trays (the third is for Sugar), but I doubt I'll ever use it. This unit, on the other hand, is ideal, with one tray for moisturizing the glass rim and the other for edging the glass with salt. br>br>BTW, I cleaned the unit in my dishwasher after receiving it, and it appears to be dishwasher safe. The only disadvantage of using a dishwasher is that some of the lettering on each tray (for example, "Salt") will become distorted. "Lime Juice") had to be scrubbed away. I believe the lettering would be completely removed if it was repeatedly placed in the dishwasher.
It's a huge waste of space in the kitchen. Unless you're in the business of selling mass margaritas. It's just too big. It's difficult to clean, and if you leave it on your home bar, it'll attract fruit flies. After each party, make sure it's clean. Unless you're running a business, you should probably just put salt on a plate and save time. This isn't a margarita for the casual drinker. In a busy bar, this is ideal.
Not to mention the fact that when you dip a wet-suit into it, you get a wet-suit. Sugar rimmed glass; after a few uses, the sugar chunks up and you'll need to re-rim the glass. I think using two pyrex containers, or whatever else you have, one full of sugar/salt and the other full of limes is a lot better. Set aside some cash for tequila.
So far, it's been great; I've been using it almost every day for the past few weeks, and it makes rimming glasses a breeze.
This is an absolute must-have for any margarita maker or drinker. This was a gift for my husband (who makes the best margaritas), and he prefers it to the plastic yellow juicer salt container. You're familiar with the one you get from the grocery store's liquor department. It served its purpose, but this item is far more appealing on his bar. I had hoped to find one made of stainless steel, but this will suffice; if you require one, I believe you will agree that this is a good purchase. Cheers!.
I was able to figure out what the goal was. Most bars should be able to use it. Should be less expensive given what it is.
The trays are deep enough, and they're simple to clean and store. In an ideal world, you'd be able to simply tap each tray with the cup, but the sponge on the lemon tray is too stiff and doesn't effectively wet the rim.
Excellent value for money and prompt delivery. I would strongly suggest it!.
