No, they aren't, but they are if you soak them in water for a day.
This package contains 300 bamboo picks, each measuring 4 inches in length.
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that soaking them in water for a few hours before baking them will prevent them from completely burning. Cook on a long metal skewer first and then transfer to the bamboo picks, depending on what you're trying to cook.
It is different for each individual. I grabbed two at random, one just under 4 inches below the knot and the other just over 4 inches including the knot.

We provided our own food for the reception, and these picks served as an excellent vessel for caprese salad skewers and cheese plate utensils. One of the best features of these is the knot at the end, which makes it simple to pick up. br>Because it's bamboo, there are a few stray fibers, but that's something I've noticed with most skewers. I would buy these again and would never buy plastic skewers because bamboo is a far more renewable and biodegradable resource.
Is it likely that I will purchase these in the future? I'm not sure I'll need to because 300 will last a long time, but they did arrive in a bit of a jumble in the bag, with some of them tangled up in each other. Due to splintering, a few were rendered useless. However, only about 5% of the population was affected. With fresh mozzarella balls, salami, cooked tortellini, and basil, I used them as small appetizer shishkabobs. Yum!.
The selections are adequate, but if you require all 300, you will be disappointed. I carefully counted the picks I received in a sealed package and found 276 usable picks and six untied sticks. All of them appear to be well-made and will look great with any outfit. a plate of hors d'oeuvres oeuvres. There is a distinct odor, but it seems to fade quickly once the picks are removed from the package and exposed to fresh air.
The two larger squares are the perfect size for a Lunchbots Cinco. If it's on a stick, my child will eat almost anything. I cut up sandwiches, fruits and vegetables, leftover French toast or pizza, cherry tomatoes, cheese, and cut-up fruits and vegetables. Sausages or hotdogs can be cooked on the grill.
Although many of the bamboo pickles arrived unknotted, it was a good product for the price. Several of them had splinters, so I'm going to see if soaking them before using will help. For the price, there's a lot of stuff, but not all of it is useful.
My husband needed a cocktail pick that was both sturdy and long enough not to fall into his glassware when he served his fancy cherries. It's perfect because the cocktail pick's knot rests perfectly on the side of his high ball glass, and he can puncture two cherries at a time (probably more), making it a great complement to his drink.
They're cute, but you'll have to work hard to get on because they're more for a couple of pieces of fruit than meat.
We bought these for my brother's wedding and used them to serve cheese and crackers. We had plenty and only had a couple that we couldn't use because I believe they broke in transit, but they were a great price for the quantity and worked perfectly!.
