Ice buckets can be extremely costly or appear to be so inexpensive. In addition, given the circumstances, they must be reasonably durable and inexpensive. This ice bucket is designed to be used on a deck or outside. There's a good chance you'll get hurt. As a result, I went with the less expensive model. At the same time, I didn't want anything that appeared to have come from a yard sale. I also liked that the tongs came with the ice bucket and were stored in a location where they would be difficult to lose.
