Greetings, Matthew, and thank you for your inquiry. br>br>I used to sell this flask in a stainless steel version (though it was matte, not shiny), but I realized that it is a version that people buy when they don't want anything special and are looking for the cheapest option. And because I use a high-quality stainless steel, I don't recommend it. I couldn't compete with cheaper flasks costing around $7-$10 because of the quality stainless steel, reliable manufacturing process (which isn't cheap), the box, and now also the pouch. $14. Every sale would result in a loss for me. As a result, I've decided to only sell flasks that are special, with a more impressive and distinct appearance - Gold, copper, and black are the three colors used in this design. br>br>In terms of size, I'd like to offer smaller sizes, such as 5 oz. Unfortunately, unless I grow significantly larger, it is not financially feasible due to the large sums of money already locked up in inventories with my current six variations. That said, I will make every effort to grow much larger, with the hope of eventually being able to offer smaller sizes as well. However, I believe it will take me two hours to complete this task. br>br>Thank you Matthew, your question felt very friendly and I appreciated it. The matte black one was the one I went with. But before I handed it over to him, I hand-washed it and let it air dry. The only tricky part of that wash (and subsequent ones) was that the top was flimsy; it almost seemed to break, but it didn't. So I would recommend hand washing and being very careful with the top seal part; he has used it multiple times and I have washed it multiple times, so it isn't damaged yet, but be careful. I would suggest to the seller/company that you use a stronger screw or joint (whatever you use to attach the top to the actual flask) and I would buy it again, possibly for myself. Thank You.
It's lovely, but the first one I got had a dent in the middle convex face and a few small scratches. Amazon sent me a replacement, which had no dent but had the same tiny scratches in the same spot. I sent an email through Amazon to Jacob (the brand's owner) but have yet to hear back.
It doesn't stand up by itself because the bottom isn't flat. Add in the fact that the funnel prevents the liquid from flowing into the flask by sealing out the air. To drop the liquid, I must first fill the funnel and then lift it slightly. On the plus side, it doesn't leak, so it's perfectly functional once it's full and in my pocket.
Because of its larger size and attractive black matte finish, I was hoping to enjoy this flask. But I couldn't get the lid to screw back on properly after unscrewing it. br>br>It kept going on crookedly, and getting it on evenly was a real struggle. I tried closing and re-opening the window several times. It was possible to open it, but it proved to be difficult. br>br>I returned the item because it was unacceptable. I wish this flask worked and was better made because it looks great and I like the size. br>br>I'm sorry it didn't pass the test.
It was wonderful. It's a stunning hip flask that doesn't compromise on quality, comfort, or ease of use. br>At a private party where I was invited, I pulled it out to enjoy my favorite bourbon, and a number of people pleasantly looked and observed that I certainly control the interest of the foot square that my person occupies. I was in a great mood. br>br>I applaud Jacob's Well-Being for acting in such a professional and caring manner. Deserved in terms of ensuring our satisfaction with his product, as well as his attention and orientation.
The padded box provided a nice presentation, and the black finish is very appealing. The biggest issue I had was that when I removed the cap, there was a thin strip of metal around the grooves of the flask's screw portion. It was simple to remove, but it left a razor-sharp edge. I was able to sand it down and smooth it out, but not everyone has access to the necessary tools. br>br>I was going to return it, but it wasn't worth the hassle and was simple to fix; Certainly for me. br>br>**UPDATE 12/6/21** Updated to 5 Stars! After reading my review, the seller contacted me and expressed regret for the flask problem. He offered to get a new flask for me. He had the new flask sent out right away, and I received it a few days later. He provided excellent customer service, especially considering I wasn't looking for anything and was simply conducting research. Thank you very much, Jacob.
It comes in a very nice and thoughtful satin lined gift box with a matching black funnel and is finished in a classic matte black.
I found exactly what I needed. This is a fantastic flask. It's small enough to fit in your pocket or purse. The funnel comes in handy when it comes to refilling. It's very slim and simple to fill and use. The bag isn't used very often, but it's a nice addition. Jacob provides excellent customer service. I bought it as a gift for my wife, and the first one had a flaw [that they had never seen before]. I reached out to Jacob, who was quick to respond - Within four days, we had a replacement flask. I recommend it not only because of the high quality of the product, but also because of the company's high level of integrity. Cheers!.
