It isn't a ceramic topper! It's made of low-temperature plastic that melted as I sterilized my jars. The toppers are plastic, despite the fact that nothing in the description indicates that they are. br>br>I am extremely dissatisfied with this product.
These were purchased for the purpose of storing Limoncello. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have stated, the shipping packaging is unsatisfactory. They were packaged in bubble wrap envelopes with two bottles in each envelope. A broken bottle was the result of this. When I tried to open the envelope to save the unbroken bottle inside, I discovered that the broken glass shards had impregnated the bubble wrap envelope, causing a small shard to lodge in my thumb, which I was able to remove with tweezers. After I washed the bottles, two more problems arose. I couldn't easily remove the metal cap harnesses, and the metal has corroded as a result of being washed in the dishwasher (only cosmetically). Also, getting the insides of the bottles to dry is a challenge for me. After 24 hours, there is still moisture inside (any suggestions are welcome). br>Having said that, I believe these will be ideal for my needs.
There was nothing special about it. But, and believe me when I say this, breaking these would take a lot of effort. They arrived in one of those tiny blue bubble wrap envelopes (the kind with only ONE bubbly layer of protection). They were stuffed into the mailbox, and we could hear something banging. I took the envelope inside, tossed it on the counter, and wondered what we had ordered in the first place. Purchase them and give them to your friends to take out with them. It might keep them safe from a yahoo thief.
We liked the idea of a flask but didn't want one that looked like everyone else's. We saw these and thought they were a good deal, so we took a chance, and we're so glad we did! We filled them halfway with bourbon and they held about half of the bottle. The clasps were strong, and the seal remained intact; I was worried about the seal, so I left it on its side overnight to ensure no leakage. It was a huge success. There wasn't a drop to be found. The only problem was that one of the metal clasps was quite sharp, and I cut my finger on it. It was the only one of the eight with a problem. I ended up throwing it away because I only needed six. It was an accident, and it was difficult to notice, so no one would have known. Just a friendly reminder to inspect them before giving them out to family and friends. br>br>At the bottom of the page: Would buy these again! At a fantastic price, this is a fantastic size.
These are what I bought to keep my house together. Infused bourbon to give as Christmas gifts. One of them, unfortunately, was completely shattered. I had three more that were fine, but I had to scramble to find a new container for one of my presents at the last minute. The ones that didn't break were excellent, and the size was ideal for my requirements! However, because I paid for four bottles, I expected four perfectly good ones.
When I gave the vanilla as gifts, everyone remarked on how lovely the bottle was, almost as much as they remarked on how expensive the homemade vanilla was. I'm very happy with these. With the thicker glass that is more difficult to break and the design, they remind me of old bottles. The stopper is simple to use and provides a good seal. I had to shake these bottles once a week for six months while my vanilla soaked, so believe me when I say the seal is excellent, with not even a speck of leakage when shaking out all four bottles.

The four-piece set is a fantastic deal. I bought them as gifts for my daughter, who is just getting started with extracts and liquors. When I see the name Bormioli Rocco, I know I'm getting the best possible quality for a reasonable price; it's a happy purchase!.
The glass is very thick, and I like how the stopper is permanently attached. They can then wash it and use it as a flask once they're finished. Most metal flasks I've tried aren't great because you can't keep anything in them for more than a day or two, and filling them without spillage or multiple starts and stops is difficult. You can see exactly what level it is with the clear class. Great product at a fair price, and I appreciate the fact that it is made in Italy rather than China.
