It was the same brand we were given for vegetables. I am disappointed. The vegetables we were given were of the same brand and it was excellent. The edge is not present in this one. There was a great deal of expense involved and it was not worth it.

Shun knives are my favorite knives and I have about a dozen of All of them are great at what they do, but perhaps most importantly, they are really smart. Everyone except this one is a liar. Upon arrival, it had very little in the way of an edge. The sharpness is not even close to that of henkel, not to mention For a price of this price, it seems like a grave The project I was looking for isn't a DIY sharpening project. *And it is a matter of personal preference, but this thing is terribly large. There is a lot of claymore in there. The knife should be 8 inches long, rather than this large. Unless you serve a lot of brontosaurus or buy whole tuna, this knife is not something you need to purchase.
