That is not the case. The handle on the 6" and under models is smaller.

The blade has a length of 6 inches. This isn't a small knife; I have a larger one (8-inch blade) as well. inch) and a third that is smaller (3-inch). inch), in the same series, and I'm very pleased with them all.
I took a measurement at the widest point, which is one and three-sixteenths of an inch.

I don't cook very often, so it doesn't get much use. It has a nice weight to it, solid and on the heavier side, making it feel like a nice, sturdy knife; however, as you can see in the photo, it is clearly not a sturdy knife, as it broke cutting butter from the fridge that had been sitting on the counter for about 10-minutes. It will take 15 minutes. That is the first time I've ever seen a knife do something like that. I'm not a chef or a cutlery expert, but I don't think a knife blade should break in that way.
We met for a week at a different location several years ago, and my biggest complaint was that the kitchen lacked a sharp knife, severely limiting my ability to cook. I decided to buy my favorite and most essential tool, a 6 inch Henckels knife, for this event, but I didn't want to pay as much as I had paid for my top-of-the-line 6 inch Henckels knife twenty-five years ago because I knew it would get lost during travel. a period of five years My favorite knife was on the counter this morning, already dirty, so I decided to get this one. It had been used the night before and hadn't been washed. I used the new knife I received the day before yesterday. Wow! The heft of the knife, as well as the sharpness of the blade, were ideal. I'm really happy. Over the years, I've taken good care of my Henckel knives. They are sharpened by me. I only wash my knives by hand, but I'm considering bringing my old knife to this gathering and leaving the new one in the butcher block.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. The high standard of excellence a sense of security the overall appearance It had a razor-sharp edge to it as well. This is the best knife I've ever had the pleasure of handling. I was so enthralled by the Henkels that I purchased one for myself. It only got better from there. After a week or so of use, it's become my favorite knife, and I've given one to my daughter and even my ex-boyfriend. (There's no backstory here, and no, I didn't send any coins with it - if you are familiar with the plot). They are also fond of them. The 8" utility is the same as the previous one. br>br>Wonderful value for money. There is no doubt about it. HENKELS ARE MY FAVORITE! br>br>I LOVE MY HENKELS!.
So, thanks to Amazon, I was able to find one that was exactly the same! This knife is perfect for me: it's not too small and it's not too big. The size shouldn't be excessive. I don't like 8" chef knives, so this 6" one is ideal; it's light and easy to sharpen when needed.
These knives are one of my favorites. The quality is excellent, the price is reasonable, and the appearance is fantastic. When I use them, they are extremely comfortable. I strongly suggest it.
It's a Henckel knife, in case you were wondering. It is, without a doubt, a good product with a good brand.
I don't think I need to say anything else about Henckel. These knives are extremely well made and are nice and heavy. You simply cannot beat the price.
Made in China, but I believe the steel used is German. So far, the quality has wowed me. It will be interesting to see how long it remains sharp.
