There are 5 inches of blade length on the red serrated utility knife and the blade height is 3/4 inch. Also, the handle is about 5 inches long, making the total length about 10 inches. especially like that these knives have handles that fit a right or a left hand, which is a feature I prefer to hold since I am left-handed. Make sure you use the guard that comes with the knife if you want these puppies to be sharp.
Are you referring to the handle of the knife breaking off? The cover only goes over the blade part, so what do you mean by the handle coming off?
There is no green one that I know of. For years, I've been using this knife and it's the best I've ever used for slicing cheese.

I own one (in red) that I absolutely adore. The knife I reach for the most when I need The one I bought for my mother is here She's also dressed in red, which is fitting for her age.
