Questions & Answers

A shogun was a major military leader during the Edo Period They are of the following names X, omega, gladiator, phantom, shogun petty. Can anyone tell me what the differences between the Dalstrong series are?

It is nice to hear from you. In addition to using German steel, the Gladiator series is our only model made from it Alle of these knives have characteristics that are characteristic of German The tang is full and the bolster is complete). This type of steel has a hardness of 55 and is the softest steel that From Spain, pakkawood was used to make the handle. Despite being sturdy, easily sharpened, durable, and made of a thicker steel that prevents chipping, the knives are very tough and last for a long time. Additionally, they are bigger knives, providing more room between the knuckles when you are An angle of 16 degrees is used to sharpen the blade There are 18 degree angles on our three series, which is the largest. Designed and made in Japan, the Phantom Series knives feature AUS-316 stainless steel This is a 58+ hardness steel with an optimum hardness rating of 8. You should copy and paste the handle These are not designed to fit lefties, so they cannot be used The left hand is used by I think this series is the most nimble and lightweight of all our series. It's important to use it carefully, as there is less blade length and width. There are 12 angles to the edge of the steel It is 14 degrees outside. "In between" is the series we're doing right now. Presented here is the Shogun Series, made with ultra-high quality Japanese AUS-powered components Having a hardness rating of 62+ (the greatest of all our steels), 10V super steel is the toughest steel we have created. G10 Garolite, which is highly resistant to cold, heat, and water, was used to make the handle. A highly refined knife like this can be found here. In addition to the Unlike 8- and 9-aluminum, 10-aluminum steel is very hard, so it can hold an edge for the longest time, in 8 or 9 A temperature of 10, I guess. Sharpening them less frequently is less difficult than with the other two series, but inexperienced users may find it more difficult. Also, these knives are slightly more vulnerable to chipping than softer steel knives (such as our Gladiator line). Knives in this series are heavier than those in

I love the paring knife! Is the handle the same size as the blade?

Thank you for your questions and comments about our paring knife, and thank you for purchasing it from us. There is no difference in the size of the handles between the two knives

Would it be appropriate to give this knife as a gift to ?

have used my Dalstrong knife 6 days a week for 2 years and it is still razor sharp. However, I regularly hone my knives and with V10 steel, you need to use a ceramic honing "steel" since the steel is harder than most If I was giving a gift it would be hard to say, chefs are particular about their knives but at around the $100 mark I considered it better than my mother's.

The difference between this product and other products of the same type?

It is nice to hear from you. If you are asking why this knife is different from those in other knife series, we will assume you are asking what makes it different from those in the other knife Featuring high quality Japanese AUS-plated steel, the Shogun Series is manufactured to last Having a hardness rating of 62+ (the greatest of all our steels), 10V super steel is the toughest steel we have created. G10 Garolite, which is highly resistant to cold, heat, and water, was used to make the handle. Knives of this quality are extremely finely crafted. Steel can hold its edge despite its hardness, which makes it ideal for cutting applications A temperature of 10, I guess. The only downside to these blades is that they require less frequent sharpening, but can also be more difficult to sharpen for inexperienced hands. Also, these knives are slightly more vulnerable to chipping than softer steel knives (such as our Gladiator line).

Chinese knives branded with a certain company
3/5

In addition to feeling great in my hand, the knife looks good and has sharp edges. Although I feel scammed, I don't know what to do. Because of my own lack of research for purchases, I fell for the advertising and didn't do the research I normally do before purchasing. In my one star review, I am pointing out that these knives are mass produced and that the advertising is misleading. You can find it on Aliexpress or Alibaba by searching for "VG10 Core Damascus Pattern" or a similar title, and it is simply a re-branded version You can buy one that's branded. Lastly, I also say this because I ordered one from AliExpress and I was not able to tell the difference between it and one I purchased from Walmart.

She was able to accomplish this in large part because of the excellent tool she had at her disposal
5/5

The following was mentioned in my other rating for the Dalstrong company and product. But I have to repeat myself. Medical issues that my wife has dealt with have left her in a very hard situation, such as not being able to do certain tasks in the kitchen because of physical limitations. Our very first Dalstrong knife is a testament to her enthusiasm in the kitchen, which was due in large part to the excellent tool she had in her hands. It was the first time in years she had played with a knife, thanks to its quality. The difference was THAT great. Her hands fit nicely into the handle, it was excellently balanced, ultra sharp, and she was extremely pleased. She returned to the kitchen due in large part to the fine Dalstrong knife that we purchased. Her ability to work and prepare a meal is due in large part to the Dalstrong Damascus knife that we purchased. I purchased the hefty Dalstrong chefs knife after seeing this video. That knife would be dangerous if she hadn't also picked it up and used it. My imagination was never fulfilled when I thought she would try and use the Dalstrong Chef's knife. It has not been easy. It is also loved by her. We are now in the present. She had just been given this new knife by us. My return home brings a surprise. Something I don't usually hear surprises me. Singing was going on at the time. We're cooking in Her hands were busy chopping and cutting up a bowl of many different vegetables for Mexican food when I walked in. Even though this may sound schmaltzy, seeing her develop enthusiasm for cooking after facing so many challenges is a very rewarding experience for me. She sang this evening, so I was glad. This is not a joke. This Dalstrong knife was the only tool she used in the kitchen. I know this sounds like a garbage However, it is not relevant It took her a little while to learn how to work in the kitchen, and she paid the price as she suffered chronic pain afterward, but having the right tools made the difference. A Dalstrong knife would suit any woman, would fit in their hand comfortably, would balance well in her hand, and would take quick care of anything they put in front of them. In addition, she was singing while she was in the kitchen making quick work of food items. Considering that it's my first time using this tool, you can bet I have good things to say. My name is not Barbara, and I am not paid for this remark.

There are a few brands I recommend for a novice like me that I have tried, but my new favorite knife comes from a local manufacturer
5/5

A $20-$25 denomination was tried The number 50 refers to James. I recently picked up some Henckels, Allezola, and other knives to find my new favorite was actually my old knife. Allezola was my top pick as it was sharp and easy to use, but it did seem a bit I am starting to cook again and I wanted one with more durability. I do not want to have to purchase a knife again for the foreseeable future. (Don't get me wrong, it is a great knife for $50. ) looked into this brand and all the reviews seem to reflect that people really enjoy these knives. My shogun ended up being a 3" and I ordered it from the top tier. I will need a 25" blade to get me through until I can find or save enough for two more. Out of the box, it was very sexy. I got it super fast. It amazed me how hard it was to wash the 8" with a sponge. My knife barely touched the edge of the sponge knife, and the poor sponge was ripped. It's true that you do get what you pay for when it comes to knives I've tried a few and absolutely loved them. Since my mother's old knives were worse than my new ones, but better than her old ones, I gave them to her. All I am worried about is cutting myself when on blood thinners by accident. A great servant this knife is, and you are the master that controls it. You're going to be in a lot of trouble if you screw up. This makes no one else want to use them because no one else wants to use them. Therefore, they are all mine. My precioussss.

This is a scary good movie! You will never believe what this knife can do! Having conducted a lengthy research session over the last two weeks, and in order to purchase a more expensive single knife, I decided to pull the trigger What is a great knife? Do these guys even know what one Since I own Tojiro, Wustof, Mercer, and Bob Kramer knives, and am currently studying at the Le Cordon Bleu, I can vouch that these knives are true to their names
5/5

I am very happy with the packaging and the content included in this product. It's not a good idea to throw out these boxes. The knives are next. As soon as you pick it up, you know you're dealing with a piece of professional equipment that's been meticulously designed. Your hands will fit perfectly in it. You will want to stare at it just to appreciate how beautiful it is, but this piece of art is designed Do whatever you can to make it happen! The smoothest thing you can do with a hot knife is to run it through butter. you've ever owned a particularly sharp knife, this is as sharp as that, but 10 times as sharp. There are no words to describe how sharp it is! It takes these knives three minutes to slice an egg white so thin that even the most novice of cooks can do it. Chef Instructor has used mine all week to prep and cut food for class because he was so impressed with them. In addition, he is a very well-known chef in the Central Texas area, who has mastered the finer points of high-end cuisine. You should run and get your one, two, or three as soon as you can. Having it on your mind will not cause you to No, I have not heard of the company before, nor have I, however, I do advise you to do research to discover more about it. Don't be afraid to listen to the advice of people who love food and who know the value of a good knife.
