I suppose it could be cut, but a Chop Saw probably isn't the best tool for the job. Plastic tubing is used on this unit with a magnet running the length of it. To be able to cut smoothly through thin plastic without shredding it and to be able to cut through magnets is a challenge. Too much power could be a problem with the Chop Saw. This makes them easy to see and handy.
This is great for holding knives, pots, pans, or anything metal that you'd like to keep handy while cooking.
I find it very useful.
I didn't think it worked that well. It isn't great to have a magnet. Knives fall off behind the stove every time I turn around.
The material is great for cleaning.
It is easy to install, but make sure your level is correct.
