Look closely at the attached images, and you can clearly see that both the blade and hinge have been smashed. This was all caused by cutting through a chicken breast. The shearing could have been caused by misuse, but the bend is an apparent sign of improper handling. Several of my knives are from this manufacturer and i'm very happy with them. The one I'm not happy with at all is this one. It will be the last one I buy for myself or any of my employees if the company doesn't make this right. For a couple months now, I've been on the hunt for a nice and reliable clever knife on Amazon, but so far I've not found it. I finally decided to cut my losses and spent a little more on a Shun clever knife instead of all the others I have bought. Knives that pass a test with cooked chicken bones are sharp enough for your basic tasks, but fails to perform well with raw chicken It may be more effective to buy a cheap, clever knife since all of these expensive models have not been up to my expectations.

This is a strong and balanced article. It is so sharp and tall that I can slice without worrying about cutting my fingers (I love cutting with a blade this long). A knife/meat cleaver for cutting vegetables, fruit, and meat that I love.
In addition to wearing these gloves every time I handle any of these above items, I also use them to take in and out of the dishwasher, which makes me feel more secure. The blades of my fingers end up grabbing the surface of the blades when I'm assembling, cleaning, or arranging them in the dishwasher.
