I am very pleased with my The knife seems to be very durable, and it is razor sharp on arrival. I cannot say how long the knife will last, but it looks like it will be good for a long time. Basically, this is a heavy, thick blade that is essentially a small cleaver, but it does have a very slight curve to it that could facilitate some cutting. It has a nice solid feel to it and a nice sandlewood color, instead of the brown in the photo, which I had preferred. The whole thing is nice, substantial, and comfortable in the hand, with an ergonomic curve that makes it comfortable to hold. Being a big guy with large hands, I don't have an issue holding it, as it is comfortable to hold. I was surprised at how heavy it is for its size, and it may not be as large as it appears on the images. There are few noteworthy features in the sheath, but quality is decent and it's You don't want it too thin, but you don't want it too thick either. It would have been nice to have a double stitch on the sheath, but for the price, you cannot go wrong. The belt loop will probably not be of much use, but I'll still use it for camping. As I mentioned, I plan to use it to process large cuts of meat, including racks of ribs, whole or quartered chickens and carved That will make a very nice addition to my kitchen, I think. Despite being made of carbon steel, it comes with a thin coat of oil, and they recommend not using it in the dishwasher and keeping it dry and lubricated, as well as not using it in the dishwasher. I received mine just last week and have not yet used it very NO MATTER HOW BUTTERY YOU ARE, CARBON STEEL will always rust if left to its own devices. Most of my knives are oiled with mineral oil to prevent rust, but almost any type of oil should do (olive, vegetable, etc. ). It is obviously not a good idea to use machine oil like 3-in-1 The food processor requires a level 1 if you intend to use it in As well, I am going to oil the sheath to prevent the leather from getting wet.
This knife has nothing to do with carbon, it has no stainless steel blade and it is just steel and that is it. Other than that, it is still a decent knife for the price, but the description is false, it came back with alloy nickel, copper, chromium, aluminum.
I am very pleased with your I plan to have this knife for a very long time. The size, weight, and steel all fit together perfectly.
I will probably buy several more of these.
I like it. It's very sharp too.
My favorite part about it is the ease of holding and superior cutting capabilities.
Excellent as a kitchen knife.
Knife of good quality.
