That looks like stainless steel to me. The set consists of three parts You mount the channel to the wall, and then there is a cover channel that covers it all (that is all that is seen).

This magnetic remote holder is awesome
5/5

I received mine in good condition. Because of my ADHD thinking outside of the box crazy problem solving, I used this knife holder for a very unusual purpose. The magnetic strip was used to hang my remote controls on the To clear up some space on my nightstand and to prevent my cats from stepping on the remotes (which they seem to purposefully aim for), I moved them to the other side of the nightstand. Magnetic holders were my idea to make it easier to peele them on and off a wall than cup-like holder and look fresh at the same time. My phone has metal plates on its back that can be attached to a magnetic car mount so that it stays mounted on the surface. These are on the backs of my remote controls. If the patterns didn't fit, they could easily have been bent or cut with large scissors. A magnetic knife holder was then installed on the I was able to accomplish that very easily. The screws on one side were screwed straight into the wall stud, while the anchors on the other side were screwed into the It feels very secure and does not seem to be at risk of falling down, however, it wobbles slightly when you attach or remove remotes. Rather than the base plate wobbling, it's the magnet. It's not that big of a deal, just a little annoying. My choice of magnetic knife holder was based solely on its silicone covering and its black appearance. We would have preferred it to have been a bit longer, we would have liked it to be 14 inches long or 16 inches long, but 10 inches works fine. We hope seller will consider In addition, there are other subtle colors such as white and gray. My overall impression of the product is that I strongly recommend it.

This is a very nice For hanging knives over the stove, I bought two of these
5/5

It is possible to remove and put the knives on and off without damaging the blades because of the soft coating It is much easier to roll them to remove them from metal magnets than rolling them. There is a very tight fit between the mounting bracket and the magnets, which are very.

The fact that it was in two parts made attaching it really easy, since I had to attach it to the inside
5/5

You simply cannot go wrong with this knife bar! This piece is divided into two parts This flat metal bar is attached to the wall with screws and a black magnetic bar on top of it. I was able to attach the kit to the inside of a kitchen cabinet with ease since it was split into two parts. Additionally, the screws provided were too long to be used It took me about a minute to glue the metal piece to the door with silicone. After everything has dried overnight, place it in a cool place. A magnet was attached to the bar the following day. I am really happy with how it has turned out and how it looks. I bought this knife block along with a boning knife, serrated bread knife, and two knives for the kitchen. It's one of the best gifts I've ever received.

Knives are securely held in place with a powerful magnet, while silicone rubber protects the blade
5/5

I am very pleased with the result. While there are many magnetic knife holders to choose from, most of them do not have silicone rubber wraps. A 22" space on the side of my cabinet came in handy, so I ordered two holders that were 10 inches high. I used shorter screws that were slightly larger than the supplied ones since the plywood veneer was 1/4" thick. In considering glue or doublesided tape, I finally decided that screws were the most secure option. By attaching the metal plate to the wall, then sticking the magnet on it, and ultimately hooking the knives on the magnet, it's as simple as that. There's a very powerful magnet on the back of the case, so it sticks solidly, and the metal plate fits into a shallow recess on the back of the case. Put it in place by snapping it in.

It's still there
5/5

I love it! The knife holder I got for my birthday still makes me happy! There's no sign of wear on the magnet and it still looks the same as It took me a while to get used to the heavy knives like the chef knife, but none have managed to let me down. I am getting a 12 inch carving knife for Christmas, so it's full now. The second hangar has its own specific location, which I already selected. There are only two more paint sticks I need! The Original May 2016 Review was as follows Since I moved into my new house, I have been itching to get my knives out of the cutlery drawer. My limited counter space wouldn't allow me to keep knife blocks because they would take up far too much It was then that I noticed the magnetic knife holders and thought they might be the solution. After measuring the depth of my cabinets, I discovered that I had only 11 inches to work with. Several reviewers claimed they had cut them down, drilled new holes, etc. This was much more than I wanted to learn about! The one I found looked perfect. I kept looking and came across another. The length fits, the look is nice, and the reviews are great. It seemed like a good idea, so I decided to give it a try. In order to perform the installation, DH was hired. How thin the side walls of the cabinet were was a problem we hadn't anticipated. The solution he came up with. By gluing two wooden paint stirrers together and then gluing them to the interior of the cabinet, it gives it a strong stable surface. My organizer has been in place for several weeks and it's an excellent organizing solution. I have extra space in my cutlery drawer and my knives are safely out of the way and easy to access.

The magnet is attached to the This magnetic bar is amazing
5/5

I am in love with it. A super strong magnet keeps all my metal cooking items securely in place, and it adheres strongly to the side of my steel fridge using the same magnet, so I do not have to use adhesive or anything else. Although we have a black high gloss painted fridge, and it's very slick, I put a few glue dots anyway because I was afraid it would slide, but they weren't necessary. Two more of these will be purchased in the future to store knives and extra mixing cups. There is so much room now on the counter and in the drawers.

The sleek look of this item is complemented by great magnetic power
5/5

It is recommended. With its magnetic power and sleek design, this 10" knife holder is one of the best in its class. The hook and loop was mounted through the side of my 1/2" wood cabinet above my sink using #8 flat-headed screws A set of three 3/4" machine screws with a flat head. To mount the washer and bolt on the back, I used spring washers. While the package included a #6 screw (smaller head and gauge), the #8 screw worked just fine The screw came with drywall anchors and was intended for wood/drywall. In order to increase the security, I used machine screws with nuts and bolts at the beginning from the perspective that we would probably grab knives off it for a long time. A metal plate attached to the wall is the back part, and then the front part (like a necklace box lid) is fixed with magnets to the back. Due to the fact that the front part fits flat against the back plate, you should use flat-spaced screws To help the magnetic connector work properly, the screws must be countersunk (any screws larger than a #8 will not fit in the countersunk holes). After trying another RSVP product first, I switched to this one. The types that have the black magnets and the stainless steel in lines that show in front, which look more traditional. We have four knives on it including a razor-mmeasured one and I didn't find it had the holding power I expected, as the knives did not touch all the steel stripes. It is 11 o'clock sharp. The knife I am using is a 7-inch (7") Global knife. I am not concerned It would be a great gift, would recommend buying it again, or would do so.
