It is screwed to the refrigerator, and I am not keen on having anything mounted with screws on
I found mine to stick very well and they are not fancy at all! It would be best to test it by putting a magnet against it. I suppose that would tell you if it is effective. Magnets like this are pretty powerful, I would

I installed one of the two of them fairly easily (only 1 is shown As it stands, I have a small kitchen and haven't decided where to put the other one). I was not impressed with the quality of the guide screws The guides would bend or collapse as I pushed them into the holes in the wall, even after widening the holes in the wall with a drill. The problem was somewhat annoying, but we were able to resolve it after some fiddling.
This does not sit well with me. These are the two I just got Screws and anchors are included, and they are pre-drilled and ready to use A hole was drilled. I hung my knives up after I put them in and A picture of the back of the magnetic strips can be seen in the picture below. It's cracked where the holes have already been made. They're made from the worst plastic I've ever seen. There are cracks in it. The magnetic strips also started coming out of the front section of the strips. It is a real disappointment. Would have been better off going to the.
There are no mounts on these - they are completely useless Plastic that is thin, brittle, and easily shattered that they supplied with their drywall anchors. Both strips failed after having a half load of utensils placed on them. One failed during installation, the other after a few months. Instead of paying more to get a better brand, save yourself the trouble and spend a little more on.
In a nutshell, It has been my dream for so long to own these. The books were a great find for me. Knife blocks that are common in grocery stores and restaurants are almost impossible to clean and very unhygienic. When you're a renter like me, you can use the 3m strips that hold 10 pounds in place of the screws the kit comes with.
It was not specified what size drill bit to use for the anchors in the instructions. Although not a huge deal if you already know how to use anchors, it would have been nice to have a bit of grip. The anchors were cheap and square at the top, so I had to cut them to fit the holes I had drilled. As a result of one anchor disintegrating, we had to use a different one.
The weight can't be put a lot on this. This appears to be a good design. It does not hold too much weight, but it is still very useful in our kitchen nonetheless. The good stuff is good Please note
I need a steak knife
Spatulas that are light and easy to use. I would like a thin bread knife - It is a joke they are telling themselves Isn't good for (no good for)* - Ladies* - Knives that are too heavy for the kitchen - Cooking utensils that are too heavy - The sharpening of knives.
It is a snap to install and the adhesion is superb.
