The old beat up knife block on my counter took up a lot of valuable counter space. Having been on an organizing kick a lot lately, I decided to remove the knives from my counter space to make room for fresh food. My stainless steel fridge has a knife strip mounted on the side, right next to the stove, so my knives are easy to reach when preparing and cooking. Once it was even, I simply stuck the magnetic block to my fridge and used the adhesive to attach it. I only needed an extra set of hands to hold a level and ensure that the magnetic block would remain in place. We received the magnetic knife holder from HOSHANHO and were very pleased with its wooden design. The wood must be real and not fake. My knife holder was easy to mount, but I used a button head screw instead of the countersunk screw provided with it. Fitting the slot in the knife holder is easier with the button head screw. I needed a 16" length for my kitchen because wall space is hard to come by. We have a 6-piece knife set with sharpening steel on the magnet, and it holds it very well. Since the wood won't damage the knife edges, they should remain sharp for a longer period of time. In general, this is a well constructed product that should last a long time.

Thank you so much for selling the knife block. I am so elated to get rid of it. Using the adhesive tape provided, these two pieces of artwork stick nicely to our cabinet. This board is very strong, holds knives well and extends all the way to the bottom. Only thing is the color is lighter than expected but this isn't a serious problem. I would highly recommend it.

This is a nice magnet that looks nice. I bought two of them and put them side by side. The magnets are very strong. Putting knives or utensils on there will keep them safe from falling. It looks like one of them is flawless, while the other has a minor flaw on the top edge where there is bad wood that wasn't sanded evenly like the rest. But it's not noticeable, and it's not a big deal. I don't even notice it when it is hanging on the wall. A new item you just received has one of those things you can only notice closely when looking at it very carefully.

knife rack remained attached to the tile back splash for several weeks, but then it fell off due to a faulty double sided tape installation method. Before hanging, I cleaned the surface with alcohol, but I think the uneven surface of the tile walls prevented the thin double sided tape from adhering adequately. Perhaps a tape with a bit thicker foam would work better in this case. In addition, perhaps a channel can be cut in the wood so a steel can be attached to the magnets as well.
