It is located at my other house, so I am not sure what its length is. Although it is a great size, I put all of my knives inside it, including my 15 3/8" bread knife, and there was still room for my other cooking essentials. A strap with a hook is included on both sides for added security. This is my favorite. The presentation really impressed me.
My sponges have not yet needed to be cleaned, but the material is such that they can be simply cleaned with a sponge and some soapy water and then just dried.
There is an 8" hole -
The blades can be up to 14 inches long.

Having been a pastry chef for over 20 years, these knife bags are my favorite. My special tools (not just knives) can be stored in the pockets since this bag is larger than most. Having now bought this bag about twice in the past year, its actually my third time. After five years of service. It is not far off from the more expensive competitors in terms of wear and tear. There WILL be breaks in the strap holds (no matter how light you make it) and failing zippers (no matter how little stress you put on There is simply no way around it. I've found these bags have lasted me about 8 to 9 months. previous brand I bought lasted 3 years with no issues. ) Nevertheless, I keep coming back to these since they are so functional. The deck has much more space than most, but you should know going into the purchase that the deck is not very well made and will have to be replaced much more frequently In spite of this, I keep buying them since they are relatively inexpensive.
The knife bag I needed was going to be handy for my outside catering while I am a keen chef wannabe. A variety of knives and gadgets are easily stored with this well designed product. There will be a wide variety of knives to choose from, for example Eighth month of Santooku In addition, it holds a few essential gadgets such as a paring knife, a steak knife, a serrated knife, etc. You might also require a thermometer, a cheese grater, a mandolin, spreaders, spatulas, aprons, gloves, or whatever else you need to do your job. Another benefit for me is that I can hold it from any handle like a gym bag, or feel like I can carry it on my shoulders instead of my hands. In terms of durability, I would compare it to nylon cordura, and so far I have not experienced any problems, such as holes or tearing. I like how the zippers work really well and how many compartments there are for storing Knife guards can be used both to ensure safety and to protect knives from damage that could result over a long period of time. My rating for this product is 5 An overview of the ratings.
Both blade guards that are included are very nice. They are lined, simple to use, and provided with a lanyard. It holds a surprising amount in the netted pockets and is perfect for holding a variety of tools. As a result, the bag arrived in great condition, with no fraying on the seams, no discoloration, and all of the zippers worked as they are supposed to. There has been no complaint from me so far. My only requirement is to fill it up with more tools.
The bag is the perfect size for me, but it does not feel sturdy. I've only had it for a few weeks so far, but it feels good. Feels a little loose, bends quite a bit. In spite of my full backpack, no pockets are empty and the flaps could be made to keep stuff in (for instance, maybe instead of flaps, use zippers so if anything falls out, it is confined to that pocket and it does not fall out when I open it). Aside from that, I have just been content with my purchase and was not ecstatic about it. My job involves working long or short days either slow or busy. I need everything organized and in its place at all times. As the owner of an expensive knife, I wouldn't want it to fall to the floor when I open.
In addition to my own knives, I am also a cook at the restaurant. I use this bag to carry everything I need for my shift (phone charger, thermometer, pens, sharpies). There are no complaints about this bag. One of the problems I have with this bag is rippling mesh pockets. It is true that I am not too careful with the mesh on this bag, but even the tiniest thing ruins it. Even when I use guards, I still find that knives stay put quite nicely. It's pretty nice to have a shoulder strap on a bag, however I rarely make use of it because it usually breaks. It would be the ideal bag if a few minor changes were made. If you are looking for a bag depending on price, then this is the best choice.
It is exactly what I was looking for. Using the bag, I can bring everything I need to my culinary classes (including my notebook, my apron, and my hat) so I don't have to lug around my cumbersome, bulky baker's toolbox. I am pleased with the product, which was shipped quickly and was exactly what I expected. I found the shoulder straps a little narrow, but that's probably just because I was used to wider ones from nearly two decades in the Army. It is more than adequate for me to just carry it from my car to class and back, and I am satisfied with it.
This bag is incredible, and I believe it will last for a very long time. It has lots of space and I think any item that I want can fit in. It has knives that are very securely fixed. The spray does not appear to be waterproof, so I went ahead and covered it up with some "nanotechnology waterproofing" spray. If it wasn't waterproof it certainly is now, and if it was waterproof it certainly is now. We've improved it a lot now that it is.
It does say in the description that it will accommodate up to 20 knives. Having the longest length out of other products is what convinced me to get it. Those who know the compartment inside out know it is 19 inches long at most. As a result, my knife does not fit my 20 inch cutting board. In addition, the zippers are flimsy, weak, and cheap, and therefore will not last very long.
