Unlike the traditional yanagi, it makes clean sashimi cuts. However, it is thinner than the yanagi and lighter in weight - it yields more natural results. Therefore, it takes more effort on the part of the cutlery cutter to make it through. Do not expect miracles from the tool, but you can use it when an emergency arises. I consider it to be a reasonable bargain given its price.
I don't know what pro chefs require, but I was blown away by it. A Vnox I own can't compare to that, and I paid 130 for it. The edge is held well by this knife. It works well for me as a home chef even though I would have preferred full tang. I love it! Unless you are an expert, you will cut yourself if you don't exercise caution.
If you can find it for around $100, this is an excellent buy.

It's a good knife. The only drawback is that it has only half a I would rather have the whole.
Trying to hold it is difficult because the handle is too smooth. It is too thick for fish to be handled comfortably with a knife. The bands were easily applied.
I own a number of great knives, but this one stands out. The edges are very sharp, and the balance is perfect.
