Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
A blade length of 9" and an overall length of 14" are the features of the KIRITSUKE design. This multi-purpose knife can handle any task that a professional chef might need to complete. Our professional chef partners gave Kiritsuke the endearing moniker "The Beast." The traditional K-tip design is excellent for breaking down poultry joints and vegetables for any type of mise en place. The hammered dimples feature will make it easier to remove product from the blade without having to use your hands.
VG-10 damascus steel is used in the Kiritsuke blade by Findking. With a hardness rating of 60 (/-2) and the ability to trim the bark off of Yucca while maintaining an edge for the rest of the day's cutting tasks, this knife is ideal. The blade has a double beveled cutting edge. This ensures that the product can be used for a variety of purposes. RAZOR is sharp enough for thin slices while also being tough enough to become your new "workhorse" in any chef knife set.
THE HANDLE- Findking's Kiritsuke has a sapele mahogany handle with ebony wood spacers and copper spacers. The handle has a 6-inch length. This gives the user a variety of grips and uses for the blade's cutting edge, depending on the type of cut that needs to be made. Every design consideration in our Kiritsuke takes into account both function and aesthetics. The handle is built on the foundations of beauty, comfort, stability, and precision.
BALANCE/WEIGHT- The Findking Kiritsuke's balance point is located between the spine and the heel, and it weighs 0 grams. 296 g (6 lbs) If you need to break down 50 pounds of chicken or dice 10 pounds of celery, this blade will save wear and tear on the user's hands, wrists, and forearms because the weight is concentrated near the blade's tip.
The EDGE COVER (SAYA) is made of ebony wood and has a felt material inlay. Through the use of friction, the knife cover will remain in place. Edge covers (saya) are essential because they protect your blade's cutting edge and allow you to go longer between honing and sharpening.

NOT A VG- VG- is stated in the product description
3/5

Damascus steel in a ten-piece set. However, the steel I was given was of a different kind. It's a waste of money to advertise in the wrong places in order to attract chefs, cooks, and buyers.
I wanted to buy another FINDKING Knife but I changed my mind because they are 100% legit on their advertisement. Don't be taken in by the pretense. br>It's a pain.

This knife is fantastic! I'm not a professional chef, but I cook every day at home and take pride in the way my food is prepared and presented
5/5

Having said that, the most important tool in the kitchen for me is a good chef knife. br>br>After doing a lot of research, I decided to order this Kiritzuke knife to replace an old, battered Gyuto that I'd had for years. br>br>I made the decision to purchase two knives, one for myself and the other for my best friend. Despite the fact that I ordered both knives at the same time, it took four days for the first to arrive and six days for the second, despite the fact that they were well packaged and arrived undamaged. The knife comes razor-sharp right out of the box. When you hold the knife in your hand, you can tell it's well-made. It's a bigger knife, with one weighing 250 grams and the other 258 grams. I've only had my knife a few days and so far I'm pleased with it. br>br>The only thing that bothered me about this deal was that after I ordered the knives, I discovered that they were available for $40 less on another website, which meant I could have saved $80. But I suppose that's Amazon's fault.

Beautiful, razor-sharp right out of the box, and well-balanced
5/5

This is one of the most attractive and well-balanced knives I've ever seen. Here in Boston, I work as a chef at a well-known Japanese restaurant. I don't have any use for knives that aren't up to par. I had a Yoshihiro blue steel Kiritsuke that I thought could not be beaten. I was, unfortunately, mistaken. The $ and the short shipping time from the factory make the Findking Prestige series 9" kiritsuke well worth it. It was a gift for my birthday, for which I am grateful. Regardless of the series, every Findking knife I own is top-notch.

The packaging is incorrect
3/5

I'm not trying to be picky, but this knife does not fit in the lovely case that comes with the sheath. The knife was out of the sheath and the sheath was on top of the blade when it was delivered. This is my second Findking knife, and the Prestige series 10 is one of my favorites. Sakimaru Knife with a 5 inch blade. One of the reasons I bought the Kiritsuke was to display them in their cases. I'm hoping that customer service will correct this so that I can update my review and avoid having to return this knife.

A well-rounded 9-inch knife, well-designed for the heft of the steel, as well as the heavy weight of the stainless steel body

I bought it for my husband as an early Christmas present, and he loves it so much that he offered to crop anything I needed for our Christmas dinner, which is a win-win for both of us!.
