I've had mine for three years and have only used it for eggs. I've used olive oil and butter, cooked with nylon utensils, and washed with non-toxic soap. Abrasives are a type of abrasive that is used in the manufacturing of In essence, I've been very gentle with this pan, and no matter what I do, eggs stick to it today. Green Pan was a huge letdown for me. Customer service told me that because the warranty period is two years, there is nothing they can do for me. There are no innovative ideas or financial incentives to purchase a new Green Pan. Okay, but I'm not going to buy another GP product because I believe my pan has a manufacturing flaw. I'm now using an $8 Lodge cast iron, which, while not perfect, is a world of difference from my GP.
I wish I had a definitive answer for you. These pans are far superior to orgreenic in our opinion. We didn't look into the PTFE cadmium because we only wanted Teflon-free products. It's a great pan, and we enjoy cooking with it. Just keep in mind that no setting higher than medium should be used when cooking. Low behaves as if it were a medium, and a medium behaves as if it were a high. These pans, I'm guessing, heat up faster.
The pan weighs 2.25 pounds on my kitchen scale. 5 pounds.

So, according to the packaging, using a little oil makes the pan work best. For a "non-profit" organization, that's a little strange. a pan that doesn't stick" However, when we cook, we prefer to use extra virgin olive oil. However, the warning that you must use corn oil or peanut oil, both of which are relatively unhealthy - is tucked away in the fine print of a small "how to use this pan" guidance packet. and Avoid using extra virgin olive oil because it will caramelize on the pan and cause the food to stick. First, this should be mentioned in the Amazon description, and second, it should be visible on the packaging rather than hidden in small print. This package will be returned to you immediately!.
I bought two of these pans, each in a different size. When I first started using them, I thought they were fantastic. Very non-stick, and clean-up is a breeze. They started to stick after two months of four times a week use. Even with oil, the food is now stuck to the pan. When I'm done, I'll use a scratchy sponge to scrub away the stuck-on food. I am extremely dissatisfied, especially considering the price I paid; I followed all of the washing instructions, using light soap and not using the dishwasher.
We followed the manufacturer's instructions to the letter and tried everything (no cooking spray, non-stick pans, etc. ). Stick cooking spray, a small amount of olive oil, no pan preheat, pan preheat, and so on). Our biggest regret is that we didn't try scrambling eggs until after the deadline for returning these pans to Amazon had passed. If you don't listen to this advice and buy something, at the very least scramble some eggs before your 30-day return period runs out. The best feature is the sturdy construction and metal handles, which will last for years in the landfill, which is where they will end up.
I waited almost two months to write my review because I was hesitant to buy it because of negative reviews about scratches and food stuck inside. People who do not follow instructions, I believe, are the problem. Spray oil, metal spoons, and hard sponges are all prohibited. Nothing gets stuck, so it's easy. I'll start by uploading a photo every other month and see how it goes. br>It's time to make some changes. I've had it for two and a half months and it's still going strong (second photo). I use it on a daily basis and it's still going strong even if something gets stuck on it. It's simple to get rid of with just water. I believe the key is to take care! And it's done: br>UPDATE JULY 2020br> (I suppose it's fine because it wasn't very expensive; it started with a minor scratch a few months ago and eventually everything started to stick to the bottom. ).
It's difficult to find a non-toxic pan that will last and is non-stick. I'm not sure if it exists at all. They can claim the sun, moon, and stars, but they don't exist. This was the best of all their pans I've tried, and it's lasted the longest (almost two years). I'd give it more stars if it weren't for the fact that it should last longer for the price. My previous pots and pans from this company only lasted a few months before they started to stick like crazy. I'm glad it has kept us safe, but I don't believe I have gotten my money's worth from any of their products. I'm in desperate need of a new set and have no idea where to start. It's possible that this is the only one I'll purchase again. MAYBE. Because there aren't many non-toxic brands that can be trusted.
br>Now it's time to put it all together! Everything sticks even if there's a lot of extra oil. This denotes the absence of The stick's protective layer has deteriorated; That is to say, my family has been ingesting the nonstick coating. So it's not worth the money, and who knows what the health consequences will be.
It's best to stay away from this brand because the 2-year warranty requires it to be returned to the seller, and Amazon doesn't accept returns after a few months. I bought this 10" ceramic pan and a companion 12" ceramic pan, but the ceramic on both of them appears to be deteriorating. There have always been metal no time made contact with the insides of those pans, so the chip on the 10" appears to be ceramic, and I cannot believe that it looks like a chip from the insides of these pans. br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br> br> br> br> br> br> br> br>.
The lifetime finish warranty was enough to persuade me to buy. I spent a lot of money to replace all of my kitchen pans. Everything started sticking to the pans in less than 18 months. I had taken meticulous care of the pans, hand-washing them every time, using only gentle utensils, and never cooking them above medium heat. As a result, I contacted the company for replacements and received a standard denial letter claiming that I had not properly cared for them. Then they claimed that based on the photos of the pan's exterior, they could tell I had used higher heat than recommended. That's ironic, because I never sent them any photos of the pans' exteriors. My advice is to save up for these pans unless you plan to use them for a short period of time. They were great for the first year, but any pan, even a cheap one, will last you at least a year. When I see the word "LIFETIME" in a warranty, I immediately think of decades and decades. I'm also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against GreenPan for misrepresenting their product; if you already have these, enjoy them while you still can!.
