Questions & Answers
In spite of the fact that I would never intend to cook this much food at once, the bowl holds six quarts of liquid and still has a quarter-inch space at the rim.
To stop using it and contact the manufacturer, I recommend you stop using it. If you are pregnant, you shouldn't ingest Teflon. This is a bad thing.
is no indication of the temperature on the panel. It is numbers 1 to 14 which are on the thermostat and then high sear following. As per Breville, the recommended amount is 12 A 14°C grill is best for fruits, vegetables, and seafood a high grill is best I'm very happy with this
Fortunately, this does not seem to be the case with the Breville wok. I have experienced similar problems with a previous vendor's work, and I decided it was time to replace them. It is very convenient for me to use the wok about once a week.

Two months are usually enough time for me to decide if something is worth purchasing. I contacted Breville about the wok I bought from Amazon that did not heat as fast or as much as described in the reviews here, so it appears my wok didn't heat up as fast or as much as other reviews here were claiming. Their customer service representatives were happy to send out a replacement and took care of the return shipping. We had an amazing experience dealing with them. They were quick, friendly, and easy to deal with. After the new work arrived, I restarted the two month clock, and now I know the outcome. My favorite thing of all time! I have now put it on a space right beside the sink on my counter that is highly sought-after. Every day I use this software, mostly to make sure all my projects are done correctly. The batter should simply be tossed If you are going to stir fry, remember the secret is to not overload Even if you chop the meat small, if you add more than 8oz of meat at a time, the outside will fail to sear properly, the liquid will leak out, and you'll end up steaming the meat, rather than stir-frying it. Rather batch it than do it all at once. Also, make sure not to boil pasta with it. A normal pot is a whole lot easier to pour out, but this one takes much longer. Using it as a slow cooker is not recommended either You just can't figure out what to use for the heat setting Three times, I was too low and I had uncooked food after ten hours. But if I go any hotter, when the element cycles on, it boils a little more vigorously than I feel comfortable with considering that it has to be left unattended all day. There is also the risk of someone accidentally bumping it and raising the heat. Crock pot is all you need My opinion is that it is much safer. I should mention also that I have these tiny scratches all over the bottom, although I have never put anything hard in there (especially using spatulas and tongs made of wood and silicone). It took me a little while to figure this out until I realized that I put salt in there. Salt is a hard substance, so I am betting the scratches are caused by the salt getting stuck under the spatula as I stir it. Though there are scratches on the surface, it still doesn't seem to affect the nonstick properties, and there is no peeling as of yet. There is no problem with it for me. My cooking is much more fun with this thing, and I can serve things like fajitas to get that snapping, sizzling live feel of a Mexican restaurant in the comfort of my own home. Additionally, I like that I can cook on the kitchen island instead of being stuck in a corner where the stove is, and that my kids can still work in the kitchen with me. Overall, I am so glad I got it!.
It is very difficult to make a stirfry without a high flame, which would always cause the oil in my skillet to turn black and sticky, and I have yet to figure out how to get it out. In addition to being all-powerful, it also required some strong arms, fanning the smoke alarm with the pages of a newspaper or book as the pan It is now possible for me to prepare stir fried meat on the stovetop thanks to the Breville wok. The pros are Please note The nonstick surface is hot enough to quickly sear vegetables and meat, even with the vegetables still in tact. The heat can be adjusted via the My stove is easier to control but I can't turn it off - Thanks to the nonstick surface, I use considerably less oil than before. This means that I fry less fat and fire alarms are fewer. I particularly enjoy the shallow bowl because it allows me to sear just enough veggies for two people (without steaming, as might happen if you add too many or the bowl were deeper)*- - Large enough for two to four people, depending on how many veggies you add. Keeping things clean is a piece of cake. Due to the base being able to be detached from the work bowl, it is dishwasher safe. It may be a good idea, but who really wants The only thing we've had to do so far is give the sink a quick sponge wipe. Remember to clean up after eating, rather than before. It's almost certain that you will get burned otherwise! The following cons Please note This is a very large object. There is something horrifying about this. It is even more difficult to store the bowl when it has handles on it. It doesn't matter where you put the space, as long as you have the room. You may want to consider the frequency in which you will use your storage space if you don't have much space available. To me, this pan is far superior to a skillet, but if you're only going to use it once a year, then you should probably stick with your skillet or just order takeout. Please note It is perfect for deep frying and I have other uses for it besides stir frying, which is why this purchase has been justified by telling myself that I will use it for stir frying. With the shallow, wide shape of the bowl, it's a little hard to really get any depth when it comes to oil and really challenging to get things out with a Though I am a bit disappointed, I will continue to use my dutch oven for deep frying and keep the stir fry pan for stir fries only. But since it's a unitasker, it does a good enough job that one doesn't have a hard time justifying.
