You may also The cast iron skillet I am currently using has been in my possession for almost two weeks. It took me only a few minutes to wash and season the skillet when it arrived. Below you will find my detailed product review. Pros In this skillet, 1) food tastes great and 2) food doesn't burn or stick at all. Having a meal the size of a quarter is ideal for two people This is a 3 person team. Curry recipes can be cooked in it because it is deep enough. 1) Not your normal cookware weight, so you should take this into consideration before ordering if you tend to be a lazy person. 2) If you are trying to save money, this skillet is not the best buy because it requires a little more effort to clean and maintain it. Secondly, you cannot wash it in the dishwasher with the lid on. Also, you need to season the lid after every wash
3) The lid on the skillet has rust spots, if you look closely at the pictures you can see it. Because of that, I gave it a 4 star rating, but I still love the cookware otherwise.

In all honesty, it has worked great so far. The pan cracked all the way through while cooking a steak, leaking hot oil everywhere. Ensured that they were never dropped and took good care of them. This is incorrect. In order to make something exceptional cookware versus something awful, all of these factors are required. This includes smoothness of the surface, quality of the seasoning, fit of the lid, even thickness, and so on. Our skillets from Lodge have won every cast iron cookware category we entered. As of right now, we have a complete cookware collection, and 90% of it is Lodge. It's great. Is cast iron trickier than you think? The cooking surface was just so rough it surprised me. I also noticed a small chip at the rim of the pan due to the pre-seasoning. After I had cleaned the oven with oven cleaner, I proceeded to strip it. Over time, I am sure the pan would have smoothed out, but instead I decided to get my husband to smooth it out for me. Although I am not sure exactly what he used, when he was done, it felt as smooth as my Wagners. After seasoning it, I refrigerated it overnight. The seasoning initially wasn't sticking very well, however, it may have been due to my smoothness. cooking in it for two months, it has become one of my favorite skillets and I use it nearly every day. The first time I tried it, I was not sure about it and had my issues with it, but now I can't imagine how I got along.
