Cooking equipment like a skillet is called a skillet. My family and I have been using this set nearly every day since we bought it. I love the versatility of this bag.
Oil from canola seems to set harder than other types of oil when used as a seasoning.

We were impressed with the packaging, and the quality of the cast iron was excellent. While the inside of this pan is a bit rough, compared to Lodge pans I've purchased throughout the years, for me, this does not pose a problem since I primarily use it It sits on or in parchment paper, so nothing will stick to the pan (though I have been using the skillet side to cook bacon, just to smooth it out a little The only negative aspect I can notice is the setup of the handles. Two loops are on the one side of each pan, and two handles are on the other. When the two items are stacked on top of one another, they fit together nicely, but there is a huge gap between the two handles, like 1/4". This is not a big deal until you try to pull the cooker out of the oven at 400F+, and you grab the handles first, and then you (of course) squeeze them together, which causes the lid to open, resulting in steam explosions! It looks very much as it was designed in this way, even if I got a bad one. Besides that, my kitchen is transformed by this stunning addition. As a backup plan if anything were to happen to my Lodge pans (such as my kids taking them home when they return from college), I would be willing to try one of their larger skillets.
As well as a lid that fits tightly, this product doubles as a pot as well. Upon arrival, it was double wrapped and arrived in two days. It had an additional coupon for 10% off my next order, and I got 10% off that order as well. I will definitely buy from Naked Co. again in the future. I discarded the packaging when I discarded the product lol

As I picked up the Lodge set, I picked up this one as well. In some basic cooking, I used the Lodge seasoning in place to see how it would perform. However, while it did perform better than the Lodge factory seasoning, there were some things it still needs to be improved upon. In the same way that I did with the Lodge, I stripped and remodeled This set needs some time to season (patience) but once done, they are wonderful. stews, soups, etc. in the pot, and it always turns out well. As far as eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, and parsley are concerned, I have done these with the skillet after reheating I use it every season and it works great. Also, I have baked home made bread and it is perfect. A 'skillet' style handle is a nice addition to the bot as well as the lid for those times when you want something a little easier to hold on to as compared to the Lodge, so it was worth the additional cost. Because of that, I find the lid from this set is more conducive to use as a skillet than the lid from the Lodge. The quality is good and as long as I maintain the set and seasoning well, it will last me.
This set is amazing, starting with the packaging (which is superb) and leading to the use. As for the lid, it is also a great skillet. The only thing you need to do is heat up the cast iron to medium until a drop of water sizzles BEFORE adding ANY oil. As long as this pan is seasoned well and does not stick Be diligent about taking care of yourself. The set is for sale!.
My yeasted bread baking results were excellent. I baked about a dozen loaves with this. The bread maker is both strong and sturdy, easy to use, and versatile even though I have only used it for bread so far.
You will be able to have a lifetime of happy meals and easy clean up if you carefully season cast iron. Although this process can be time consuming, it ensures your cast iron skillet and/or Dutch oven are only exposed to the oils you prefer. Every time I use the Legend Cast Iron, it gets better. A pot and pan that heat evenly, maintains heat for a long time (ideal for dinner parties), and can be used both on the stovetop and in the oven are a perfect set for any.
I have collected cast iron for years but this set is a welcome addition to my I find the weight to be the most important factor. Having arthritis sometimes makes it harder to use heavier pieces the new pieces that have been released will be more practical.
The packaging and presentation of this product were great. The instructions for how to season and prepare it for cooking were very easy to understand.
