I am very pleased with the outcome

Though I have not been an expert in Iron cooking, I have used it for a number of years (all kinds and brands that my grandparents passed down to me). * CONS 1) The seasoning on the bottom of the skillets rubs off very easily when I move them around. Alternatively, you can season your iron as you should, and the problem will be resolved. finish, but nearly all brands have a rough finish these days. The issue would arise no matter what brand you purchased (unless you were buying a high dollar skillet). The cons have come to an end. The pros are A brief overview you are new to cast iron, you should watch some YouTube videos on the seasoning and care of Based on reviews, it appears that rust is a problem There is no need to worry about the brand. Cast iron requires a bit of care, so do you best to research it. cast iron straight out of the box of any brand. The oven should be heated to 450 degrees for six hours It is always my test of a new skillet that I make yeast rolls to see how the heat transfers up to the sides. The rolls browned the same on the sides as the bottom, so I am very satisfied with the uniform heating when up to temperature I've noticed that the skillets feel a bit thinner than Lodge Pans, though I haven't noticed any difference in functionality or heat The benefit of being lighter could therefore be a positive. It is only my doubt that they are made in the United States that causes me any hesitation at all. Nevertheless, as far as functionality is concerned, I think A good seasoning is a necessity, and I prefer to grind/sand smooth, so they perform the same as any other brand that.

This is an 'IRON PAN!' We bought this skillet to sear tomahawk ribeye steaks after sous vide cooking them in it. It is the Godzilla of cast iron skillets. As other commentators have said, this is a very large There are a lot of steaks here. There is a picture of a 10 to accompany this review. A 5" standard cast iron skillet and a mechanical pencil of the same size in each skillet are used I have received the pan and have been very pleased so far with the quality. It seems to be at least as good as branded pans, if not better. There is no pre-recorded sound for "Pre-recorded sound " The way it appears to be seasoning is not what I would like, so I will probably redo it.

Having my eggs cooked and knocking out all my enemies is a good feeling. Having a product with dual uses is a great thing.

A great pan made of Cast Iron

It took me some time to trust this pan, because I usually buy cast iron from Lodge, but this pan is just as good as all the rest.

This was too large for me, so I had to return it
5/5

The skillet portion is 15 inches but the diameter is 15". Find a small cow and you can fry the whole thing at once! Well made, no dimples or dents and well balanced but prepare for a workout when you lift this thing. It'd be even better if it was packed with the cow I mentioned earlier.

I can't believe how big this thing is
4/5

Cooking isn't my strong suit, and I've spent relatively little of my adult life attempting to become a good one. It's still a slow process, although I have made more of an effort recently (hence this purchase). My mistake was thinking I would get a normal-sized skillet and getting a giant box at my door was a surprise. So it's not the go-to skillet for me Due to the fact that it's so large and heavy, I planned on using it only when I'm cooking for myself. It was then that I thought I could at least use it to help create multiple servings of something and store it for lunch the following In any case, I tried making arepas with it (if you have no idea what arepas are, think cheesy cuban pancakes made with corn flour instead of Even though I could make four pancakes at the same time, the skillet was hot in the middle and cold around the perimeter during preparation, so not all four pancakes cooked The size of this skillet makes me doubt if a regular oven has large enough burners to make it There might be a better way to use it over a campfire? Other people will probably know. There needs to be a bit more clarification of this product's sheer size because no one takes a measuring tape to the oven before ordering kitchen utensils to estimate the size of the thing before it is bought. Bottom line, be aware that this thing is enormous before buying.

Here's my first cast iron cookware
5/5

I decided to take the plunge. Besides researching how to care for my cast iron pot, I also gleaned a lot of tips and tricks from my grandmother and stepmother, both of whom are cast iron pros since way back when. Soon after I received the package, I began seasoning it. There were two of them Presented in a box with foam inserts The line is The handle and pan were entirely intact (in comparison to a review I read about someone who had received a broken handle and pan). Having been re-elected in 2008 So far I have seasoned it three times and have cooked it three times. Besides eggs, sausage and burgers, we also serve hotdogs. Cast iron, according to what I hear, does what it is supposed to do. The Hot 10 is heavy, stays hot for a long time, cleans easily, and is heavy. I have a 5" skillet that is perfect for my big burner. The cast iron skillet I made for the first time fits my needs perfectly and I am very satisfied with it.

A skillet is a great dish

I only had one complaint It didn't properly season. A skillet is a great dish. I only had one complaint It didn't properly season. However, now that it has been seasoned with a few coats of canola oil and a few cooking sessions, it is really good. It is ideal for cooking bacon and eggs over fire. I took it camping with me.
