A tempered glass lid protects the contents from breakage. It is safe to heat the lid on the oven to up to 3500 degrees Fahrenheit. If you remove the baked item from the oven and put it in cold water after it has cooled to room temperature, let it cool to room temperature before doing so.

I bought the item just a few days ago, and it is warped and scratched. This is garbage. The entire investment was wasted. When I first bought this pan less than a month ago, it was so warped that it would not sit flat on the stovetop. When peeling off the nonstick, it is scratched. The pans in my kitchen aren't too hard to handle and I love cooking. Basically, I expect more from this brand. Contacting them is not worth the effort since I'm sure they won't do anything. At this point, it's just clutter in my kitchen so I wouldn't want another one. This pan is a rarity in my house now, and I have only had it for a short time. Look somewhere else if you want it. Due to my experience with Farberware, I will never purchase another product from them.
It is frustrating that Faberware does not live up to my expectations. Previously, I had this problem with other large pans, which is why I had to get a new one this time. This pan has a small region on the mitten of the pan that gets very hot, while the rest of the pan does not contact It would have been best to test it before cooking with it, but I didn't think about it at the time. As of now, I do not feel like returning it so I will donate to the Salvation Army instead. It likely will work on gas if you cook with it.
I didn't even need to use it for it was warped on the bottom. immediately needed this size pan, so it was the only one I could use. This is horrible! I would not recommend this product!.
When I used it for the first time, I found the bottom of the product was not flat because we threw the packaging away before we used it. I could not return it so I could not return it (Short of it rocking on my glass - My frying pan is a great pan, I use it every time I turn on my stovetop. There is no sticking power.
The first time I used it, it started spinning around the bottom after 5 minutes. I flattened the bottom with a dead blow hammer after I used it and I will only use it on my gas burner. I would never recommend any one to buy this pan and I will never buy anything disappointing from Farberware again.

I love this pan so much. Despite the fact that it only lasted a few weeks, I really like it. It was a bit hesitant because I use a crappy electric cooker and some reviews said that could be a problem. It has been great to have a good distribution of heat. In replacing a pan I used several times every week for two decades, this one had to live up to a lot of expectations. I've been pleased with the experience so far. As far as the price is concerned, I am satisfied.
