Questions & Answers

Is it able to hold how many quarts?

In my opinion, S's point of view is correct. A scratch without a At 2 quarts and 5 quarts, it is pretty much full The third quarter. It would be much easier for me to go with 1 rather than 2 (Note a half-quart is appropriate. It's not going to boil in cups) if I'm heating it at higher temperatures.

Do you think this pan is 10 inches wide?

That's not at all the case! A set of these I bought as part of a replacement for what I had for forty years. There was a 10 inch frying pan as well as a Dutch oven in my set. It was possible to swap out the covers. I would say that this is nowhere near a 10. Its thin, light weight material, along with its semi-sharp cover edge, make it a good read. As far as I know, there is no such term as "Farberware" in today's world.

Are gas ranges compatible with this product?

You ask a great question, Joann Price. The Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel Saute Pan comes with a full cap base with a thick aluminum core surrounded by stainless steel, allowing the pan to cook rapidly and evenly. Also suitable for use on glass, ceramic, gas, and electric cooktops, it is also suitable for use on induction stovetops. Also, the product can be used in the dishwasher, and it can be heated to 350 F in an oven as well. This information is provided with the hope that it will be helpful to you.

Is there a 10" lid that can be purchased ?

You can purchase a 10" glass replacement lid for the farberware skillet on Amazon. There is a $14 charge. The following is a list of 91 plus symbols.

It is a daily ritual for us to cook
5/5

It works best for us to go old school. This is a true 5 star product. You will not be exposed to The cooking process of everyday staples, such as chicken, gets better and more even in non stick frying Results that are more predictable. The same applies. The pan does not need to be ruined when you brown meat. In fact, this is the perfect size and weight for our house. We own the 10 inch size and find it not too heavy. The system is very simple to use. necessary, and squirt lime or lemon juice and it comes out shining. In addition, baking soda and vinegar can be used to clean burnt pans. Our issue was the products weren't really that great, and maybe it wasn't us "ruining" them. After trying many different non stick products, we finally admitted that the problem was that they weren't great products. As many of you are probably aware, we blamed ourselves a lot. The heat was too high, and I think it was a FIVE STAR product for use every day, and for the value and Added a second one to my order.

The skillet is great! I am very pleased with it
5/5

I'm used to Farberware skillets, so this one is no different. Despite its elegant lines and well-crafted build, it performs like it would have cost much I've been using nonstick pans for so many years The benefits of stainless steel on the culinary front have made me return to it. Cleans almost as fast as nonstick, does not scratch or peel, and turns sautéed foods into so much healthier versions of what they would have been. You can learn a better way to cook with stainless steel if you browse the internet for information on techniques to prevent food from sticking. You're right, there is a technique out there!.

Cookware that is lightweight and easy to clean
5/5

Affects my ability to lift very heavy pots and skillets. Bought Farberware cookware to help with this. Because I am older, I am less able to use my hands and wrists as well as I once did. From a long time ago, I remembered the name Farberware. A beautiful woman who always looked good. A skillet and two pots are on the way. Compared to what I remember, they are all just as light and gorgeous. The dish gets cleaned up easily and can be put in the dishwasher if necessary. The food was excellent and I would order it We have a lot of love for.

It has a 12 inch diameter
4/5

Despite being sent as a replacement, the first skillet received had a defect. A void was found on It took only a couple days for me to receive the replacement. I'll be there in a flash. Pans like this one do not present any problems to me. That it is made of a solid core base is appealing to me. By doing so, the cooking surface will be prevented from heaving. When the center of a pan warps and rises into the air, it's difficult to use it.
I particularly like the design of this pan, since I have many of its older cousins in In order to cook, I'm only using surfaces such as stainless steel, iron, and glass. Surface time capsules that are coated in a thin layer are unnecessary. As cancers and such can be caused by such substances. With the dual handles, you can easily transport the meal from the stove to the table. It's great for steamed clams, reducing spinach, etc. It is large enough to have leftovers as well. Saving time is one of my favorite things.

There are some scratches on the pan
3/5

Because I already own this brand of pan for more than 40 years, I decided to order one. Although the pan arrived with a dent in its side, the packaging was not damaged, so I know that the dent was not caused by The pan has a flaw in its construction. Returning it and having a replacement sent was a good decision. Another dent appeared in the pan as soon as I opened it. My second return is also the same as my first. It's time to get this pan out. Even though I had to give it one star, it does not deserve.

I am not happy with the quality
3/5

This pan has been in my possession for about 3 months, and the handle just fell Additionally, the inside of my pan appears to have some finish or something that is peeling off, which is really lame. I will not buy many Farberware products since they are very old and I won't need one for a long time.

inside the skillet from the mid-20th century
5/5

If you are like many others hoping to replace a 30 or 40-year-old The year is The size of this skillet is about the same as my old Farberware skillet with the straight sides, measuring a quarter-inch in diameter The sides are deeper than the top but the bottom is smaller. This skillet has a surface area of just a shade over 9" across. I have a 35-inch surface when I open my skillet, it is almost 6" across You're pretty close to 9 with your skillet. 25" in length. When you are sautéing mushrooms or cooking food that you wish to lay flat in the pan, you are gaining significant surface real estate when you are doing so. It happens to be one of the things I care most about. This skillet still has its nice straight sides, almost one and a half inches wide Unlike my old skillet, with its shallow sides, the new one's sides expand to allow me to simmer a saucy dish like marinara comfortably. Considering the weight of the phone, it feels more solid and sturdy than I expected. I had the same problem with my handle attachment (my husband fixed mine by using thread locker on the screw so that it won't wobble any longer). new dimensions are making me consider returning it and the same handle attachment makes me think it may need to be returned. Despite the fact that I don't think it will replace my old skillet in my cooking rotation as I had hoped, I gave it five stars because it's a great basic skillet.

Don't be foolish! A loose handle has been found! This skillet has a good size and stainless steel part, but the handles seem to be broken
3/5

In the past, I used to have one where the handle would often loosen, and I would have to tighten it with a screwdriver. It is not something I would have thought to do for 20 years, but it was I discovered after a few uses that the same skillet I bought on Amazon was loose after a few uses. It was purchased on 4/28/17, and by 7/31/17, the handle completely fell off. It is no longer able to be tightened. In over 20 years, there has never been a solution to this manufacturing issue. I am so sorry!.
