Has the bottom of this bowl been smoothed and flattened?

One will see that the Cuisinart 12 "sauté pan has a smooth flat bottom when it is brand new if one reads my review. Only one extremely gentle use of the pan caused the warping to become apparent. had not moved from its previous state of smoothness to its previous state of flatness. read around the web that others have had a similar experience. That's too bad, because it's a beautiful pan with a great handle and a perfect weight, but mine spun like a top after only

There are two types of skillets (from the bottom to the top), with tapering sides that give the inside a more gentle bend, while saute pans have a straight side creating a sharper angle than the skillet (probably 45 degrees, with rounded corners).

If the bottom didn't warp at saute temperatures, that would be ideal
3/5

From the get-go, my impression of the pan was that it was of good quality with a nice finish. A month after I first started using it, the bottom of the pan began to warp, resulting in very uneven cooking on our glass cooktop, since only one side touches the heating element (the center). In spite of my hatred of this pan, I still wish to like it. There is a heavy feeling in the air. Cleaning is very easy with it. A deep saute pan needs to handle high heat without warping. Although I like the size, it does need to handle high heat I have updated. Having bought a second pan after the first was so warped, I bought a second one. The only thing I could think of is that it may have been abused by too much heat. Not at all. I told you the second one was warped, but three months later, it is still warped. This pan isn't worth your time. You should buy something else that is of.

Pan is good, but warps when used on medium power for the first time
3/5

As everyone said, this pan warps a little after use on medium power with my induction cooktop over one time on medium power. As a result of this process, the pan initially had a perfectly flat bottom, but the center bulges down after heating, causing it to Glass cooktops are affected by this issue in two ways the base can become unbalanced, and the glass can become discolored. The very center of the pan is the only place where the heat is maximum. 1) The glass cooktop is quite responsive to the pan. Fortunately, I managed to solve my issue using the hammer and block of 2x4 that I had handy. When I first tried to work with the pan when it was cold, the bottom became flat and I was able to keep it flat, but after heating to working temperatures, the warping returned. Next, I use high heat to get the temperature high enough. Then, I try to work the paint before it cools. When you cook with your pan you won't have to worry about it warping during normal use if the bottom has gone flat when it is hot. In the end, I was able to 'convince' the pan to remain flat after some brute force banging with a hammer and a piece of wood. I'm happy with the way things are going so far.

I cannot imagine how much more disappointed I could possibly be The Cuisinart Professional series made me want to invest in a quality fry pan, so after reading lots of reviews that said it rivaled the All-Clad, I purchased one It is the same bag, but for 1/3 of the price
3/5

In the end, I decided to give it a go. Thank you for understanding. I apologize so much for that. The quality of this pan is not much better compared to the cheap pans I purchased at Target in the past, and it cost a lot more. What about the even distribution of heat? Not at all. What is the cleaning process like? It scorches terribly every time I use it, and I have to scrub it with a wire scrubber for 15 minutes to get it clean. I am so disappointed in myself. Plus, this thing is a LOT heavier than it looks. This is so small that I can hardly hold it in.

The bottom is warped again
3/5

I am sorry to say that my pan has a warped bottom. With the recent purchase of my new induction cooktop, I have been shopping for new pans to go with it, and feel as though I have carefully read reviews of products as much as possible to make informed decisions when making a purchase. The brand and series this one belongs to get a lot of positive responses, and it has many of the same features you'll find in My decision to purchase this pan was influenced by the positive reviews, value, and features, along with its induction capability. intend to purchase a set of MCP cookware after I have used this pan for a while. On the plus side, the pan and the In addition to being large enough for searing, they are not overcrowded in You can easily clean it up. A downside of the pan is that its bottom It is important to have a flat and perfect contact for best results with induction. The pan is less than two months old and no longer meets the criteria. We are both confident we haven't handled the pan improperly as a household I don't believe we heated the dry pan to a high temperature, or introduced a very cold thing into the pan, or put it on a tiny burner, etc. I haven't yet tried to return it. Maybe we can make it work. It is sure, however, that I will no longer buy MCP.

A pan with the capacity to cook for many people
5/5

The pan is fantastic. As you can see, this pan has some weight to it, so it definitely requires a helper handle. As an add-on for the 13-day course, I purchased this The set consists of one piece. One of my old cookware sets had similar pans and lids, but they were a little smaller, and I used them frequently. Although I had a smaller version of this pan in the set, I knew I would not be able to use it for all my needs. In addition to a skillet, the lid is also compatible with a 12" pan. If you plan on buying this, you need to make sure you have adequate cabinet space because it is much bigger than I anticipated, and it does not fit in my cabinet with the rest of the.

I am disappointed
3/5

Once the pan was wrapped, it was difficult to use. This has been revised (updated). I am disappointed. I take excellent care of my pots, so once I wrapped the pan I was done with it. There have been a number of complaints about this issue. We are hoping that it will be exchanged or refunded. * * *UPDATE A new pan was sent to me free of charge by Cuisinart. It was a pleasure doing business with As it turns out, the replacement pan also had a plastic wrap. It's important to be conscientious when cooking. As for my pots and pans, I never leave them on a fire without anything in them, and I never overheat Neither medium nor barely high heat will work in this pan.

Sauté pan of the highest quality
5/5

It had been a while since I used a big saute pan. I'd just been using a few skillets for the past while. Having this pan would have come in handy in the past. I wash and dry it after every use (I wash and dry it by hand). that has been cooked in it so far has come out perfectly. Should I come across someone in need of a large saute pan at a good value, I would consider recommending this or even purchasing it for them.

The pan is nice and big
5/5

Our staff just purchased a 12 piece set of tee shirts and this item goes perfectly with it. This set only comes with a pan that is 3 1/3 quarts and we needed something that was In addition to being 5 1/2 quarts in size, this pan is perfect for preparing dinner for guests or a large Regardless of the set being SS or aluminum, we have been very happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for stainless steel Whenever we switched, we wished we had done so a long time.
