Questions & Answers

When you use an induction stovetop, does the heat transfer?

This pan just arrived today and I really like it. Although I don't have an induction stove top, it indicates on the box that it works with To demonstrate that it is magnetic, I have included a pic of the pan with fridge magnets stuck to the bottom. It may have been the case in older versions but it appears to be the case in this version!

Which size is which? What is its dimensions?

A fry pan with a 12 inch diameter and 3 inch depth measures about 12 inches. A heat sink plate is mounted on the bottom, making it heavy and reliable. It is very nice to have a This skillet's dual handles are easy to use and it doesn't get as hot as other skillets can. To prevent the stainless steel surface from sticking, every time we clean the skillet, I heat it up and use olive oil to cure the stainless. The product is worth its price in the end. It may be of help to you. James Fielding, Jr.

Have you experienced any lift-up in the center over time? I have another al-case skillet of the same size that grew in height over time and became unusable. ?

Despite what you may think, it does not stay flat at After using mine a dozen times, it has apparently developed a habit of rocking back and forth when you stir something in the pan. There is a warp in the pan, because this is an induction range with a glass top. My recommendation for their cookware would be to avoid it and to never buy it

Then can I put it in the ?

The answer is yes. To serve food in this pan, I bought it for exactly that Having heated it to 425 degrees, I have placed it in the

The pan is fabulous! Not a member Use it PROPERLY to get a good result! Reading some of the negative reviews about this pan made me a little hesitant to purchase it

After searching for 3 months to find a suitable replacement 5 quart sauce pan that is a TRULY 5 quart pan with a STAINLESS lid, that would NOT break the bank when our stainless pan finally broke beyond repair, we finally found one. My breath was caught & I didn't want to move This one is on the way. My husband and I are in love with mean, I love it so much! There is no charge for it This STICK does not have the toxic chemicals found in teflon, ceramic, and so forth, and we do not have to take extra measures to take care of it. We win and we win! Nonstick pans can be made by putting a non-stick coating on the surface If you don't USE this pan properly, then you'll find that everything sticks to it. So don't review this pan whining that everything sticks to it when you didn't educate yourself about how to use it.
Heat the pan for 2 minutes, and then remove from the heat When water goes across the pan, it should glide as if it were skating on ice. As long as the water glides, you are in the clear. After adding a bit of oil, you should add your food, and then you can serve This should be a non-profit corporation Stick to it. Occasionally, some things stick to this pan no matter how hot the pan is or how much I heat it, but we've cooked virtually EVERYTHING in it without it sticking. This is perfect for us! If you want to clean it up, you can put it into the dishwasher or wash it by hand. Add some hot water and wash it if food gets stuck to it or if you have a caked-on layer of oil Use a small amount of dish soap, and let it soak for 15 minutes It will take about thirty You should be able to clean it very easily afterward. As far as I can remember, I have only used something a bit more abrasive one time (as SOS pad). Due to the oil that had baked into the bottom, there was an area that was highly oily. I scrubbed it out without much sweat and it came right out Once again, it seemed as if it had never been used. Our family uses this pan about four to five times each week The work week consists of five days. It sometimes happens to be 6 Usually we eat with it at least one meal a day, but some days we eat it two or three times a day. We've tested it and it works Worked like a charm! It would be awesome if I could buy another pan when we start cooking for our large family in a short time. My goodness, my goodness, my goodness! It is a 5 1/2 quart pan as opposed to our last one which claimed to be 5 quarts, but did not hold quite as much. I had a great time using that You should definitely check it out!.

5/5

It is a pan I purchased last November. I purchased this pan in 2017 and wanted to give it a review now that I have used it for a while. I enjoy cooking fried chicken with this This item is 11" in diameter and bottomed. From the top edge of the pan to the top of the countertop, it measures 3". It holds about 1 cup of water and has about 1 inch of inside depth/height. is the distance from the underside of the rivets to the top of the may seem small, but it has an 11" diameter, so a lot of food can be packed inside of it. The largest burner on my gas stove produces a flame about 6" in diameter. My food doesn't need to be moved around to get to a hotter surface area to cook, since I've had no problem with 'hot spots' or having to maneuver around the pan as it distributes the heat evenly. I'm sorry - The first step is to use the medium setting to pre-fade In a pan, heat oil. To test if the pan is ready for use, you can do the following. Prepare the pan by wetting a spoon/whatever and putting a 'small drop' of water in it. Having a 'boiling water' appearance indicates that the pan has been properly seasoned. The second paragraph. When you cook eggs, you need to "lightly, lightly" butter or oil the pan. Hamburger won't need to do that if it is something like that. In order to fry chicken, I pour olive oil in a pan and allow it to heat up to cover the bottom surface only. As soon as I put a tiny bit of food into pan near the sides and not the center, I know it has been cooked. The sound of sizzling should be heard. A pan that doesn't reach the proper temperature is too cold. It will heat up faster if you allow it to sit for a while. Then make sure that once the sizzled food is put into the pan, you can add the food to be cooked. Food that has been placed in the pan cannot be moved once it has been placed there. The place where it is must stay the same. A browning/caramelizing process should take place on the underside of the food before it is flipped or moved. This will cause the meat to stick to the pan but will release after the process is complete. I'm sorry -
During the time the chicken is frying I am heating up a bowl of water in the microwave. My technique is to wipe out the oil and then pour in heated water after I have used the pan. I can release 99 when I move it around with a spatula. A 9% percentage of anything that has stuck to the bottom or sides of the pan has been removed. My next step will be to pour out the water and hand wash the pan later that night or the next morning. In the lip/top area of the pan, I dry it carefully around the rivets and rivet heads. Cleaning this with Bar Keepers Friend is said to restore a shiny new look to your pan. It was just bought and I haven't used it yet, but so many recommendations make it seem as though it will be a success. I'm sorry - Do a search for "videos of how to cook with stainless steel". There are plenty of them for different types of food or for cleaning or degreasing. You can learn how to cook with stainless steel in this article. It is a pan that I would be willing to buy again and would recommend to others. In addition, since this pan ships from and is sold by Amazon, Amazon's return policy covers most items within 30 days of delivery. >

The Cuisinart 733 is the one I ordered 30-H Chef's Classic Stainless 5-Piece Gift Set The half-way mark To replace a smaller and, allegedly, lower quality saute pan, we introduced the Qt. Saute Pan with Helper Handle and Cover. My new pan was hand washed after it was delivered and I hung it up on the pot rack that would become its new permanent residence. Upon putting the pan on a burner set to low heat, I filled it halfway with water and then placed it on a burner to poach eggs (as I didn't want it to warp or crack). In spite of what I assumed were bubbles indicating that the water was approximately to simmer, the spots turned out to be pits in my brand new pan's interior surface. Despite my best efforts, I am not satisfied It will not be purchased from the Cuisinart Chef's Classic line in the future and I will not be purchasing any more items from it.

I am not happy with this purchase

A ding was visible in this pan's lid when it arrived It was simply an oversight on my part. At the bottom of the pan, I noticed a strange ripple in the finish. Within days or so, the middle of the cushion began to dimple up. As I illustrate in the photo, there is coffee in the bottom of the pan. Look closely at the pan. You will see a spot about the size of a half dollar in the center. The hump is nearly 1/4" high, based on my estimation. The pan I use for cooking is a gas burner, and I have never overheated it. My only request was that it perform like any other pan in the There is no way around it. I am Though it looks like a second, it wasn't sold as such. While I got a good price, I guess what you get for your money is what you get.
