I have never been in a situation like this before. It is impossible for me to claim to be an expert in the kitchen, since I am not a chef. In midlife, I am not in the prime of my life The experience I have boiling water in a pot on the stovetop dates back for about 40 years since I was a child. I have never been confronted in my life with a sauce pot lid that could not be lifted out of a pot of boiling water without burning my That's all we know so far. The photo attached is, incidentally, an image of what happens after you lift the lid on a pot of water after it comes to a boil. Despite my best efforts, I dropped the lid of the Michelangelo pot because the handle was so hot. As hot as it was, I could not handle it. Fortunately, the glass does break into small square pieces, instead of sharp slivers, and I can confirm that it is tempered. In order to see how far up the pot's handle I could grab before being burned before dropping the lid, I held it up before dropping it. I was unable to grasp the handle close to the pot because the handle on this 3 quart pan is rather short. It is heavy if it is filled with water, so someone my age would need to use As you can see, the handle is just too hot in this instance It was difficult for me to even pick up the pot since it was filled with boiling That's probably a good thing, because I might have dropped the whole pot with the lid, lid and boiling water and everything in it.

Although it recommends hand washing, you can do so. It's heated up really well when we put it in the dishwasher on the top shelf. We've washed it on the top shelf a few times, but have never had any issues. You can speed up the process of boiling water by covering the pot with a lid, but the metal handle often gets burned from the hot steam produced by the lid. That's just something to watch out for.

In the beginning, there was a frying pan of a certain size, then another one and finally pots came along. I'm in trouble. It's the best. My favorite thing about the efficient heat distribution is how even it is. This lovely set of pans was made by someone who knew how to cook and so made these wonderful pots. Today, I have almost all the pans/pots they make (except for one), and as I use them every single day, they have become a part of my kitchen.

As a result, I gave this pot two stars rather than a single one, because it would probably have been a good medium grade pot if it hadn't been defective. Although the lid was dented, it did not seat properly on the pot because of the dent. Instead of looking like something you would find in a top-quality boutique, it reminds me of something you would find in a discount outlet store.

This is a very good product. I am not sure what I was waiting for. Well, I actually A metal pot or pan containing aluminum makes me feel nervous because according to the articles the metal can cause alzheimers if food touches it while heated. In spite of this, this pan has a fully coated ceramic base that is very nonstick As far as I can tell, it's stick. The cup has the perfect size for making rice too and makes the perfect amount. I like the size and depth of my pot - it's small enough for the rice to cook quickly without sticking to my stove, but deep enough that it won't overflow (which happened all the time before). My heart truly beats for you. It's nice to have the pan and handle have some weight, but without the pan feeling too An oblong baking pan in the same finish for the oven might be a good choice for my next purchase.
