Questions & Answers

Do you have a lid for this pot?

With a lid and as high a quality as you can expect from the best cookware on the market. If you follow the instructions, there are no hot spots nor is cleanup a problem. This is a great book!

Does the lid have a glass surface? A photo like this does not clearly convey the situation. ?

Lids are not made of plastic they are stainless steel.

In terms of handle comfort, does the handle on this feel different from the stainless steel tri-fold handle Which version would you like to use?

Having the tri- isn't something I have However, I like that the long handle can be used on my large stove top (six burners), and that the smaller handle can be used to easily handle it with a small grip, distributing the weight on my aging wrists. It is true that the small handle gets very hot, however, as a chef, I always have a side towel and tongs in one hand! Steaming vegetables in this pot is fun because it has a good capacity/weight ratio. You can use a small pot to make a

Is there a reason the 1 is 1 It is half a quart. There was about $100 worth of food and the three quarts of water. A 2 qt is billed for $215, yet the contents of a single qt are $150?

There was a fake in the picture. There was a capital "D" in the "d5". Instead of "Handcrafted in the USA" it read "Made in the In return, I sent it back.

I love it, but read the instructions before using - they really make a difference! Pots like this one are my favorite
5/5

This is exactly how I wanted things to be. I found it to be very very well-done I made it. The long handle is one of the things I like best about it. With my arm on the handle, I can use the leverage on the pot to help me lift it when I grab it close to As a result, it is heavy, so if you need a lightweight pot this isn't the right choice. To learn more about the instructions, please read them carefully. The other complaints from other people did not appear to have been read by them, according to my observations. When you put salt in boiling water, you don't want to wind up with pitting, which some people have complained about. I believe there was another problem with the instructions because people didn't read them, which caused the problem as well. I recommend that you read it since it is not that long. There has been one star taken off for easy to clean because you have to wipe it clean with a cloth instead of just letting it dry on its own. You don't need to wipe it to see that it is very soiled. My style is more art than science, but I like it to look pretty and clean. Clean up is very easy, but like I said, you do need to dry it properly afterward.

I'm really happy with this Induction cooktops work well with this product
5/5

The first All-American Championships will take place in May This finish has a polished appearance. As of now, I am very pleased with it. I wanted to see how evenly the water heated on high heat by boiling it first. As bubbles start forming on the bottom as the water approaches boiling point, I can tell if hotspots are developing on my induction cooktop due to its excellent ability to provide even heat throughout the bottom of the pan. The heat spread evenly throughout the saucepan, there were almost no hot spots or variations in the distribution of heat. In order to see how well it would sear a steak, I heated it on medium heat and let it cook for a few minutes. It did a great job. part of the surface had a consistent sear, without any areas that would appear darker or lighter due to uneven heating. As easy as making pasta was, making sauce was as well. I found it to be a very responsive boil, nearly instantaneously responding to changes in temperature. In the dishwasher or by hand, cleaning is easy. All Clad does a powdered cleaner, but liquid Barkeeper's Friend works well for stubborn spots. If I don't put it in the dishwasher, I use it by hand instead. There is only one thing I caution users about Do not use a sponge or scouring pad that is too firm. If you apply too much pressure, the surface will scuff. This purchase has been very satisfying for me, and I plan to buy more in the future. As well, I just wanted to address a review I saw on this site. This person reported that they returned this as it had "D5" capitalized, and it also stated "Made in USA" rather than "Handcrafted in USA". In addition to mine, the pot I purchased at All-State says that it has a D3 stainless steel lid In Clad's factory sale, they also say "Made in USA" and the letter D in upper case. It appears to be their new standard.

There are several good items in the D5 brushing line There is a problem with this saucepan They're all great! I've tried three out so far! Rather than just buying entry-level cookware, I'm upgrading Having owned a Cuisinart for over 10 years from All-Clad I can highly recommend it Finished in D5 brushing

A great skillet and a cast iron skillet I tried it for the first time with this saucepan. bought the saucepan first from another vendor (I have already tried three times before giving up on any other possible answers other than the fact this item must be to make oatmeal once and it was delicious The food was cooked on medium heat with a wooden spoon without any issues Barkeeper's Friend and a soft sponge were used to clean the pot The metal top layer of the stove had worn away, and the cooking surface had small pock marks where it had been cleaned. Initially, I believed they were spots that had not been cleaned and I was mistaken But, no, they were just pockmarks in the metal frame There are some areas of the surface that are Originally used for one purpose. Initially, I thought the item was just bad We exchanged it with another of the same item we purchased from the same vendor. I'll say it again The same steps were followed once to cook oatmeal. I then used a regular dish soap and a soft sponge to wash it since the pot was going to be easy to clean. There are pock marks where the surface has been I determined all my new cookware would be from the same set of things Once again, I wanted to give it a shot. In addition to new sponges and wooden tools, I purchased new materials for my projects. I just wanted to be sure. Furthermore, because the other vendor did not have any more Here is a link to one I bought on This is a photo of what happened after I repeated exactly the same exercise.

When I returned it, I also contacted All-America. Despite being overjoyed to let them know about the problem, they were awful and unreliable. Initially, we received an automated message that was inane Secondly, the reply was from a human and was even They are not interested in discovering that they may have a problem which could Metal in food or the serving of it is something I would never want to eat or drink. The other pieces are great, but I am bummed I was so sorry to learn that their service is so poor This definitely makes me want to look elsewhere for the rest of my upgrade.

It was of good quality at an absurd price, but was poorly sized and stained the first time it was used

The following is the size of the quilt As a result, we measured several old Calphalon pots so as to obtain the same size. Since these All-Clad pots aren't exactly the same size If you measure the height and width of an existing pot then you get an All-in-One pot that is smaller. Clad pots generally have thicker sides and bottoms, plus they have a fluted top. This pot is made from clad metal. This price is

large pots of these are outrageously expensive, especially when compared to other plastic pots. There are two pots and two plates The price of a used car should not be the same as that of a pan. The fee for the brand name is an additional expense that you should consider. The Staining Process After one use, the underside of the lid was stained. We tried everything we could think of to remove these stains, but they are not coming off.
