A Chinese nation. Except one set that is made in France (I believe this is called the "French chef's" set or something obvious like that), all of their stuff is made in China.
The amount I have is one and a half quarts. Measure it with a cup and see if it works. There is also a 1 on the packaging. It is also stamped on the bottom of the pan to indicate it holds 5 quarts. My opinion is that the website needs to be fixed. As I was looking at it, I saw that it said 1 Qt until I clicked on it, The quantity is five quarts. As I read reviews, I saw that it was one of the best. The order was for 5 Qts, and the quantity was
Inside the 2 quart container is the part. There are seven inches of diameter on the pan. A lip creating the seal on the top makes the diameter 7 3/4".
The lid is not made of glass. As it has the same fit as the pot, it is quite nice and looks great. I use this pan most often and it's one of my favorites

Both of the sauce pans I purchased (and I bought two more) peel with use. I have a stainless steel saucepan which is peeling on both sides. The fact that they could be toxic caused me to stop using them. It doesn't peel when I use it as I have other stainless steel pots that fade, scratch, etc. As this product could contain lead or may not be made from stainless steel, or might be made in China of poor quality, I would strongly recommend against buying it.
You should be cautious when buying! I do believe that this pan has a material problem. It was a year ago that I bought one. As soon as I left some soup to boil overnight in the sink, I noticed there were a few spots appearing both on the side and on Small rust stains can be found on them. However, some of them can be removed with a scouring pad, whereas others are not. I'm a very visual person, and that's why I bought this saucepan - it's beautiful and ergonomically designed, but every time I use it I have to look at those spots. As a result of this issue, I always have to use an extra heavy duty scrubber, clean more carefully and harder than usual, so I can remove new spots from the dishes. In the photo on the left, you can see the pitted and discolored bottom of a Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless Saucepan. If Cuisinart does not change their metal formula, this will be my last Cuisinart pan purchase. Here is a photo of a similar saucepan from a different brand. It was used in the same home. Three years of age or older.
I took it out of the dishwasher to find the interior covered in little orange spots that looked like rust. I've scrubbed and scrubbed but the spots don't seem to come This is not what I intended to buy.
A wonderful Cuisinart large saute pan I bought six years or so ago still serves me well. In keeping with my last purchase, this one and a half quart saucepan has proven to be effective for the past few The "encapsulated copper" started to bleed through the inside bottom of the pan after being used for about ten times. If there is such a substance, it's like they painted over the copper with a thin layer of stainless steel paint. There's no relation between this product and the Cuisinart cookware I've used in the past. I don't typically write reviews, but this is unethical because they're riding on the Cuisinart name and sending me a useless product. The last time I dropped it off at UPS, I did not take a picture of it.
A few days after boiling eggs for a second time, we noticed a color that looks like corrosion, but is actually It has been disappointing for us. Save your money and don't spend it.
After using the pan twice, I can say it has a very unusual cooking dynamics. The only thing I have ever made with it was To stir, I used a small rubber spatula. In addition to adding the oatmeal, I reduced the temperature to the lowest setting (low) as soon as the water reached a boil. When cooking on a smooth top cook surface, the pan behaves like it is still on high for quite a long time. This is not my cup of tea. The pan refuses to cooperate with you because you are reducing the temperature for a reason. I think the pits in the pan are the main reason for returning it. I found two small, but noticeable pits on the inside of the bottom of the pan after I used it for the first time and cleaned it. There were a few more after the second time. It is possible that there is some kind of material applied to the metal that is coming off and leaving it bare. This is unacceptable. As an alternative to non-stick pans, I chose metal so I would not have to worry about this type of problem. Maybe I should go for a better non stick pan -- one with a higher quality and a higher price.
It's a little smaller than it looks, and the metal does get stained from time to time. During the time I've owned the oven, I've never noticed burnt food, and it has run smoothly in the dishwasher, however, when you take it off the heat, it makes a loud snapping noise that continues over and over for up to 20 minutes. It makes me uncomfortable, but I have no idea why it does that. Heats up when the handle is held. This is a decent saucepan, but I would choose something heavier duty for frequent cooking, or to place in a pretty display.
It never occurred to me that Cuisinart's product would fail in You can see all the pictures by clicking here. The _____(fill in the blank with all of the offensive words) saucepan I bought and used was a total disappointment. I have returned for a refund because it was an unnecessary waste of time and money. I have prime, so I will refund you. It will go straight to the garbage if the return does not work out. Obviously the price is small, but money is money no matter what or how little, and making this kind of low-standard product doesn't seem to fit into the plan of a large corporation like Cuisinart.
Buy one of the others instead. A. P. C. In spite of the fact that I used this saucepan only to boil water and tea, the clean up process was a chore. I boiled milk only once in this saucepan and had black marks on the sides and bottom. It would take me a long time to explain all the problems I had with my saucepan but the short story is it belongs in the garbage, and that's the end of the story.
