Le Creuset is very expensive. Is it too expensive? I will have to think about that, but the finish cleans up better than I presume this roaster will last a lifetime, so the hours I don't spend soaking and cleaning are worth more to me than the hours I do spend soaking and scrubbing. As a result, I decided to make the leap to Le Creuset products, and I focused on Their outlet store sold me a large Braiser (5 quarts - they have them in black, too), This roaster is mine) and a convection oven (this). Ok, I bought a 7 quart roaster at a store on clearance because I couldn't pass up the price because of the price, but I originally planned to buy just 3. There are no hot spot issues I have observed with any of the products I have mentioned above. The temperature appears to be the same in all of them. I am amazed by the quality of this appliance. I can go from stovetop to oven without any problems. Do I need to mention that we need to Each time I roast for a long period of time, I look at the caked on fond and think, "I don't want to clean it" Despite the difficulty this time around, things always seem to work out in the end. With just a little hot water and soap in the pan for a few minutes while I do other dishes, it comes out pretty It is also a great piece of kitchen ware, but it is difficult to clean and the ceramic definitely wears out over time. I have a lodge oven, too, but it doesn't clean up as easily. *I guess my rational (which could be faulty, but it's also how I sleep) is not the best at times. What is the value of an implement that lasts a lifetime, compared to the amount of food you can make with it (at the cost of roasts these days)?.
My heart had been set on this for a long time, but the price was just too outrageous. My husband convinced me it was worth the investment, so I finally took the plunge and bought The music is heavy, but it is beautiful. This oven has already been used twice to bake food - chicken and mac and cheese both. I love how easy it is to clean up. This is a great product at a great price and it's not made in China.
It never occurs to me to separate the pots and pans when writing the reviews of these Le Creuset products. It is so nice to have so many options and they are all convenient. This is a Cast Iron Rectangular Masted Roaster and Baking Pan. I have one that is heavy, but the other one I have does not weigh much because the cast iron isn't heavy. Cast iron makes this easier to use, allowing it to be used in more places. The resulting gravy can be made from the leftover drippings in the pan (font) without them having to be roasted or cooked on the stovetop. What do I love about In short, yes. Here are the things I like With more time to cook and a tighter budget, I am in a better position to do so. Because of this my tools can be top of the line and therefore an excellent value, which allows me to do anything I set out to do more efficiently. My favorite way to prepare meat and poultry is to roast them. This pan is comfortable for me and I am confident in it. In the past, I had one of those big roasters for big roasts and large birds. I no longer need that I think we're going to be by ourselves, maybe with The size of this is sufficient. It snowed last night, so I was supposed to grill a chicken dish. But instead I rotisserie cooked the chicken. It was still something I was going to do. Now that I do not only cook chicken wings in the oven, I also make Pati Jinich Chipotle Agave Chicken Wings with Agave. I know the recipe will be a big success the skillet goes straight to the table after it comes out of the oven.
A cast iron broiler pan with enameled cast iron - I bought it for $4. Since using it a few days ago, I have been using it daily. Fish, scallops, meat, and vegetables are all perfect for broiling in this oven. It cleans up like a dream and you can pass it on to your children. You can expect it to last a lifetime if you treat it well. A fantastic day I find it to be highly useful, and worth the cost.
The pan looks great. Over the last couple of days I have been making meals in it and I have found it to be excellent. I like how sturdy it is and how well it holds heat. When you need to keep moisture from escaping, foil or parchment paper provide an easy solution. There's no need to worry about the size since it isn't quite as big as it appears. As for me, I am not affected by it, but I can see it as a worry to some. The recipe works well for cooking for a couple of people. There is enough room on one side of it to lay out four big chicken breasts without them touching each other. The 7 qt version would probably be the better choice if you plan on cooking more than that at a time. In addition to the size being easier to clean, I would point out its size. There is just enough space to fit it flat in an average sink when it is diagonal. If your roaster is larger, it will take more effort to clean it.
Even though the finish enamel might not be the toughest, it seems to remain in decent condition for a long time. It may be a bit heavy, making it difficult to wash, but it should last for a long time.
Oyster is a new color for me that I haven't seen before in Le Creuset. There are many pieces of Le Creuset in my collection, all different in color, but I've never owned one like this before. It has a lovely color. Having such a large pan is ideal. This is a great size for one or two people, so I am glad I didn't buy the larger one. It's made in France and the quality is good. A beef roast, chicken, or noodle dish can be roasted in this pot. In this oven there is supposed to be a roasting rack, but I have not received.
This roaster was a great buy for me. Everything I had been looking for was found there. I love how easy it is to clean, how hot it stays for a long time after it comes out of the oven and how great it looks! So much so that I purchased the smaller one for smaller items as well. Exactly like the Dutch oven, the roasters are also made from stainless steel!.
