Unlike other loose teas, Silver Needle White is not at all "brittle" to the touch, but rather feels like rolled flower petals, though not wet. Steeping it for about three minutes is what I do. Other white teas, including some delicious ones, have a variety of colors (from white to brown), but Silver Needle is what I would describe as a clear pale brownish-white. A pink color. Fujian white tea is better than Yunnan white tea in my opinion, but they are both fine. There is a lot of aroma in this tea That aspect was much more evident than with a silver needle, but I really enjoyed it, because it gave the tea a fresh smell. As a silver needle, this one has a very delicate flavour, and it's light for its size. Something a little more present would be better for me. It will be interesting to see if I can get more flavor by brewing it for longer next time. However, it is a very drinkable, light, and fresh white tea that is a worthy addition to any tea enthusiast's collection. It ought to be obvious - (I should know) More than 60 kinds of tea are available to me. Although I am aware that I may have a tea problem (I do not drink a lot of tea).

I love this tea and the company sent me a cute little bonus oolong tea for free which I cannot wait to try - never tried long tea before, so I'll let you know my thoughts! That was very thoughtful of you to send me a gift like that. I love your tea. The flavor is so delicate and lovely. I shared it with a friend and they also loved it. Young Young tea leaves are my favorite because of the small and tiny bits and pieces. It's a great tea for the money.
