Questions & Answers

Is this a tea that you can make in a matter of minutes?

Thank you for showing an interest in Tea India's 2 pound Assam Black Tea. This isn't instant tea; it's loose. If you're looking for instant tea, look into our other product line - Chai Moments from Tea India (a variety of flavors including Masala, Ginger Turmeric, Cinnamon, Milky, and others).

Why is this so much more expensive than the company's own website, which sells them for $8? 99 a bag?

The same thing happened to me. But, as one commenter pointed out, why should the additional cost be passed on to the consumer? It's also worth noting that the current price on the website is $13. The price has just gone up from $9. In the previous month, there were 99.

Is there a good "malty" flavor to this?

The best that the United States has to offer. Assam tea is known for its malty flavor.

What makes ctc leaf tea different from mamri ctc assam tea?

CTC stands for Crush, Tear, Curl, which refers to the tea's processing method. I'm not sure what the difference between mamri and ctc processing is, but I'm guessing they're very similar. Because Assam refers to the tea-growing region, the second name is more specific.

The True Cost of Everything! This is not a high-end product
5/5

It isn't a tea of 'high quality. ' This is the genuine article. br>br>The type of dust tea you can buy in bulk and for a low price in S. Because it isn't graded for export, it's from Asia, and it's the kind that has been chopped too finely, releasing more flavor as a result. Even when you use a super-fine sieve, it leaves a thin layer of sludge at the bottom of your cup. strainer with a fine mesh When I was studying in Sri Lanka, I used to get these at university. br>br>Rich, dark, and full-bodied intense, full-bodied, lightly smoky If you want the full flavor balance, use whole milk rather than skim. With a teaspoon/cup of sugar, full cream milk powder, and ginger (or high-quality chai spice) powder, this tea is at its best. br>br>This is something I've been looking forward to.

Premium CTC Tea from Tea India is a fantastic product - Even if it appears strange
5/5

This Tea India appears to be odd. What I mean is that it's shaped more like coffee grounds than the normal loose leaves I'm used to, as you can see in the attached photo. I must admit, when I first saw the spoonful come out of the bag, I thought to myself, "This can't possibly be good!" Anyway, I figured I'd give it a shot before declining or returning it. I'm so glad I took the chance! br>br>I used a stainless steel tea filter cup to store this product. Brew for the recommended amount of time with water that is around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. It's one of the best-tasting black teas I've ever had, with a beautiful color and flavor. It has a wonderful aroma and is extremely smooth. My wife and I both enjoy it hot or iced. br>br>Overall, this tea is a great value, has a great flavor, and has become our new favorite black tea. Nothing less than a perfect 5!.

When done correctly, it's delectable! This is an excellent tea
5/5

Whenever I visited an Indian restaurant or a friend's home, I would order a cup of tea that had been prepared traditionally, that is; Mint, ginger, cloves, cardamom, black pepper, anise, and other spices were added to the boiling water. Return to a boil with the milk, then set aside to cool. sugar, just a smidgeon But I wanted to make it at home, so I went to my neighborhood spice shop and bought a bag. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a 50 gram bag. It didn't take long for me to find it on Amazon, so I bought a 2 pound bag of the exact same tea for slightly more than the other very small bag, lol. br>Now I can have as much as I want, and for a very low price, because this was always "poor people's tea," which is why it's made with all those ingredients; to transform something that was previously unappealing into something extraordinary, similar to how BBQ and sausages were created. br>However, keep in mind: This is essentially "tea dust," material that would otherwise be discarded by a sorting house in India, and it must be coaxed into incredibleness. It is, however, well worth the effort. For everyone, there are YouTube videos on how to make "chai masala. ".

For my morning cup(s), I prefer a strong tea
4/5

Some have complained that this isn't Chai, which is correct; however, what they didn't read from other reviewers was that it would be or is a good BASE for Chai. And that would be the case. br> Simply add your spice blend of choice. br>br>I've been looking for a tea that's dark, rich, and malty, like the Irish breakfast tea that my aunt used to sell in her coffee shop. Shop for spices br>While it isn't as malty as I would like, it is still a good strong black tea that doesn't require a lot of tea leaves. (It's helping me get through the COVID-related paperwork. ) 19 pandemic is perfect, not just adequate. )br>br>Another point to note is that because this is a CTC tea rather than a whole leaf, it appears to some as a powder. It isn't powder, believe me. CTC teas can be found in a wide variety of fine loose teas. Because there is more surface area exposed to water in my tea pot, I believe it brews more consistently. br>br>I have a small one-person teapot that makes two 14-ounce mugs perfectly; I use two and a half heaping teaspoons (not measuring spoons); Brew for four minutes (approximately one per cup and one for the pot). Then I add another ten percent. 12 drops liquid sucralose per mug, plus evaporated milk or heavy whipping cream br>br>I hope this information is useful!.

Assam black tea with a strong flavor
4/5

It's a strong malty Assam with a good price. It's not particularly fragrant, and the package isn't resealable, but the price for 2 lbs and the authentic Assam flavor are unbeatable! My black tea is usually purchased at an English tea shop. This tea isn't as fragrant or complex as the other two, but it's a steal at this price. This tea comes in granules rather than leaves. Because it's so concentrated, use a smaller amount per cup than regular Assam. In terms of granules, it reminds me of Irish Breakfast Tea. Yes, I would recommend this tea for breakfast, and I would purchase it again.
