I can't give you an exact answer because I gave these teas as a gift (BTW, the recipient has expressed her delight with the tea on several occasions), so I can't inspect the package anymore. I imagine they'd last a long time if kept unopened in a dark, cool, dry place.

The teabags appeared to be individually wrapped in photos posted on the internet. I was very disappointed when I received my two boxes and discovered they were not what I had expected. br>I had purchased them to use in gift bags for an author event at my library.
I gave this to my mother as a gift because she enjoys reading and enjoys a cup of tea and a cookie or chocolate while doing so. She adores the tea, as well as the quotes, and says she looks forward to seeing what her quote will be each time. The outside packaging is lovely, and it makes a great gift. However, each tea bag does not come in its own package, which would have been ideal. My mother claims that it reduces the "surprise factor" because it's difficult to avoid looking at the tags. It would be worth it even if they had to charge a little more.
This isn't the image that was shown. I placed an order because the picture showed separate packages of 5 tea bags, but what I received were 25 loose tea bags. My book club would not appreciate it if I gave it to them. The tea may be good, but the packaging is useless. Too bad! For me, it was a waste of time.
These are adorable, and the tea is delicious, so even tea connoisseurs should enjoy them: ) I had expected the teabags to be individually wrapped with the tag hidden so that the message would be a surprise, but they aren't, in case that matters to you. Inside the box, they are sealed in a plastic bag. Regardless, I would purchase this item again. The outer packaging is attractive and durable, and it would make an excellent gift.
This item was just delivered to me. The cardboard packaging has been ripped apart. It has a tendency to shrink. Despite being wrapped in plastic, the tear still appears to be severe. Looking through the reviews, I see that at least two other people have complained about the same thing. My copy is also a little squished. It was supposed to be a gift, but in its current state, I couldn't possibly use it for that. It's a cute concept, but it appears that there's a problem with delivery; it says non-refundable. I guess I'm stuck with it because it's not returnable. & Tea is not something I drink!.
The packaging is lovely, and if you're a literary type, you'll want to put it on display. Each teabag's tag has amusing quotes on it. However, the best part is that it makes a delicious cup of Ceylon English Breakfast tea. There's no bitterness, and the texture is silky smooth.
Ceylon Tea Company tea is used by Novel Teas, and it's a fine tea. a box for $4 Novel Teas uses the same exact tea, but charges $15 per box because each tea bag has a fun, quirky literary quote on it. I can get a huge bag of Davidson's organic tea (excellent tea, by the way) for $11, so the markup on this is even more ridiculous. br>br>However, this is an excellent gift for bookworms, writers, literature majors, and others, as the collection of quotes is varied and includes some excellent quotes. The artwork on the box is also quite appealing. Of course, you're not paying for the tea; rather, you're paying for the "gift" that your literary friend or family member will appreciate and appreciate knowing you took the time to select. br>br>It makes a nice present, but I wouldn't buy it for myself to drink on a regular basis.
