Questions & Answers

What is the sweetening agent in the product? I'm checking to see if the product contains any sweeteners, such as stevia. ?

"Sweet" is a phrase that can be used to describe a dessert. There is no added sweetener (at least not in the FDA's definition of added "sweeteners," which would include things like Stevia and Monk Fruit). The sweetness comes from a combination of chemical derivatives from the ingredients list (cinnamon and anise seed are two of the most prominent), as well as the natural flavor. which is a proprietary blend of cinnamon and citrus rind botanical distillates. So, if essential oils are considered "natural," the sweetening component is as well.

Inconsistent on a regular basis - No QC
3/5

We had a six-month supply of this tea because we loved it so much. Every month, a new box is added to the collection. We've started to notice inconsistencies in the box-checking process. a box, and even a bag- bag. The previous one was a complete disaster. On this matter, I contacted the company six times. They have promised to send a replacement product and to return the defective product for internal investigation. Every week, they make promises and then fall short. We had no choice but to abandon them, as well as this tea.

Sweet Earth Good Is there a CHANGE in the recipe? Is this a problem for anyone else? For over ten years, I've been drinking this caffeinated tea, and I've always enjoyed the strong flavor
3/5

Normally, I purchase six bottles. As I drink every day, I go through 12 boxes at a time. My last six boxes from an Amazon seller had no flavor at all. It's bland and tasteless. Is it possible that the recipe has changed or that I received a faulty batch? It has a bland taste to it. And, yes, I brew according to the directions. "Enjoy by January 29th, 20" is embossed on the box. The box is designed in a modern style. Every box in my most recent order has virtually no flavor or fragrance. In October 2018, I contacted Good Earth directly to see if the recipe had changed. All Angela from GET had to say was thank you for contacting us, and that if you need a replacement or a refund, you should contact Amazon, and that she would forward the carton information to quality insurance. Is this a common occurrence? If that's the case, has anyone come up with a close match for the old Sweet? [Caffeinated] spicy I'm extremely disappointed.

Since the recipe was changed, it's no longer drinkable
3/5

For the past ten years, I have consumed this tea throughout the day. Now let's look at the last five boxes I bought and had to throw away. The recipe at Good Earth has been changed, and it's revolting. DISGUSTING, to say the least. I am not exaggerating when I say that the new recipe or blend is terrible. Please save yourself some time and effort by learning from my mistakes. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THEY FIX THE PROBLEM. The new recipe for this tea was/is undrinkable, with a foul chemical odor and taste that you'll notice the moment it touches your tongue. It upset my stomach, as well as the stomachs of the other reviewers. I'm still hoping it was a fluke and a bad batch from their distributor, but reading other reviews confirmed what I already suspected. This new tea is a new recipe from them, and it's awful. br>br>Being hopeful, I assumed it was a bad batch, so I purchased them from various grocery stores and experienced the same issue. Now it's just a stench of the product. The new Good Earth Sweet and Spicy recipe is unquestionably undrinkable. will almost certainly give you stomach problems, as it did for me and other reviewers. br>br>Attention should be paid to the string's tag. If the tag isn't made of plain paper and instead of the new shimmery, synthetic, sticky, gooey tag, toss it right away. Alternatively, you can request a refund from Amazon. br>br>I'm hoping that enough of Good Earth's loyal customers will speak up and help the company realize that bean counters will bring any business to its knees. If this new recipe is kept, the product will be discontinued because it is complete garbage now that they've tried to save a few pennies by changing ingredients. Furthermore, given how bad this product now tastes, no new customers will become repeat buyers. Customers are willing to pay more for high-quality ingredients and product consistency, and Good Earth must understand that these changes will cost them their customer base and business. br>br>Saving money is a good thing to do. This product should not be purchased; it has degraded, and Good Earth needs to return to the original recipe and remember the fundamentals. Getting Started in Business: It is important to consider the quality of the ingredients. Yes, I made that statement. Consumers can tell when you're trying to save money by cutting corners. Your loyal customers know you've tampered with the original recipe by adding lower-quality, undrinkable, unnatural, chemical-tasting ingredients that I wouldn't recommend to anyone after the stomach issues I and other reviewers experienced while attempting to keep an open mind by drinking this new recipe. Save yourself the trouble and throw it away. br>br>If anyone from Good Earth is reading this, please, please, please, please return the original recipe and ingredients. Drinking your original tea provided many of us with a moment of gratitude and stillness in our busy lives, but it was also a unique, fragrant, delicious, and refreshing product that was a part of our daily rituals and lives. If you keep going down this road, you'll have to stop selling your product at some point because it's so bad right now. It's all about the quality, consistency, and ingredients. Customers who are loyal to you are important. Good Earth, you are superior to this.

Disappointingly Disappointingly Disappointingly Disappointingly Disap I've been purchasing Good Earth Tea for nearly a decade
3/5

I enjoyed the flavor and found it to be soothing to drink. The flavor has been questionable in recent years. I recently purchased a six-box Amazon bulk pack. Each and every one of the teabags I sampled from various boxes was bitter. After that, I bought a box of Sweet and Spicy from a different store, which was bitter. I then bought another box from a neighboring state in the hopes of getting one from a different production batch, but it was also bitter. br>As a substitute, I've tried both the caffeinated and organic versions. Although the caffeinated variety tastes better, I am unable to consume it at night, when I am more likely to consume tea. The organic version is a poor substitute for the real thing. Tea that tastes like tap water but isn't. br>It was enjoyable for a while and mildly beneficial to my digestion. My tolerance for bitterness was exceeded with this most recent purchase. I believe I've had enough of Good Earth tea at this point.

This does not appear to be the original recipe, and I wish they had specified that it was a different recipe
3/5

Good Earth tea has long been a favorite of ours, and this had a great price and was organic, so it seemed like an easy choice. However, this does not appear to be the original recipe, and it is not as good as the original recipe.
