It appears they purchase their products from China, based on the manufacturers website
A cup and saucer fit into it.
Bamboo is in fact the material. There is such a thing as a short-lived whisk. My replacements have had to be made every 4 months or so, as I use it daily.
It is ceramic. A light tan color is what I have in my bowl.

Matcha bowls and whisks have become part of my kitchen collection. The treatment center I work at uses all of them. Of all the matchas I have collected, I found Tealyra's set to be the most value for money and the highest quality. There are no words to describe my impressions of Tealyra.
Matcha is one of my favorite tea ingredients, so I bought it for my daughter as a gift because she enjoys making green tea with it. In addition to the whisk, the ceramic cup is perfect for storing the whisk and drying it as well as keeping it in shape. The size and weight of the ceramic bowl make it just right for frothing tea,.
I was surprised by the size of the bowl and whisk. I like the quality of the bowl, and it's.
Packaged nicely for gift giving, this set is well presented. I didn't expect the bowl to be so large, nor that it would have a sparkly sheen, thinking it would be a matte finish. In the bowl, there was a lot of pink as well. This isn't the type of look I was expecting -- subdued and relaxed, not bright and shiny. I liked it overall except for the size. My smaller one is more appealing to me. My daughter knows that sparkles are not her cup of tea, so we'll see what she thinks when she gets it for Christmas!.
I like the size of the bowl/cup. It is just right. Bowl/cup is the right size. Some bamboo wisks did come uncured, but it was a few only. You can still make perfect matcha with it. It's important to note that the correct way to make Matcha is NOT by using a circular motion with the bamboo skimmer.
It reminds me a lot of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, except that there is no monk to prepare it for you. So you must learn how to whip the cream frothed up. This may be a bit pricey, but many things will bring joy (and some will not be too Have fun with it, you'll love it!.
This product was packaged meticulously, is beautifully crafted, and arrived within a timely manner. you for your kind words!.
A Matcha Start Up Kit is a must-have for me. In addition to the well-made bowl, the spoon to dip the tea in is sturdy, as well. The whisk I use to make the froth may be my favorite part since I feel it more like a meditation when I use it.
