As part of their move into an assisted living center, my grandfather (90 years old) is used to boiling hot water on the stove and making instant coffee throughout the day. It was me who recommended this electric kettle to my mom when she was concerned about this. It took us a while to decide whether or not to get Grandpa a new fancy electronic kettle due to his dementia, but it has been a wonderful prospect for him. There are two features in this device first, it features an auto-shutdown feature As long as it's off, he and everything else are safe. It's fine if he turns it on and forgets that it's on. When the device has reached boiling temperature, it will automatically shut itself down. A second reason is because he actually does not like boiling There's no way he'll handle this heat. It can be easily turned back on after he has forgotten about it and the water will cease to be heated. In addition, it is a very visual presentation. This device "lights up" when it is on to clearly indicate that it is working. In addition to being great that it is so obvious when it is on, it is also great because it is so loud. There is one flaw, however. It does not have a feature that indicates that the water is still hot after the heating element has been turned off. Grandpa thankfully checks the kettle before picking it up, but if the grandparent (or child) were not so aware, he or she might grab the glass after it has turned off and be shocked or burn themselves with the boiling water. But the fact that grandpa doesn't care about that is the reason for a 5 star rating.

In a nutshell, Kitchen gadget that I own that I find cool. Thank you for your purchase. I am very happy with it. Getting water hot and boiling is quick, and it stays that way for quite some time after it's heated. Working with the beautiful blue light is also a pleasure.

With the blue light used to show if the water is boiling, it makes it a lot more When it has boiled for a full 20 minutes, it turns itself off as advertised because it comes to a full boil very quickly. Usually, I don't like fancy things but this is nice, I'm old and don't like fancy things.

The kettle I have now was broken, so I bought it. My entire French press cup is heated in about two minutes in this kettle. I use about half a liter in the morning for my French press and the water boils within one min. Making coffee with this coffee maker is much faster than making coffee with my traditional In this case, RO water is the best option since it's glass. Since I use a faucet for our water, the glass kettle had calcium deposits in it. When they were cleaned with vinegar, the build up came off, but when they were cleaned with RO water, it did not come off. These days, I don't clean it at all.

As a way to warm up water for things like pasta and potatoes, etc. that are made on the stovetop, I use the kettle several times a day for hot beverages (tea, hot choc mixes, instant soups, etc. ). A SUNDUO Electric Kettle 1 convinced me that I needed an electric kettle until I used it regularly. The second level. Suddenly, the time has passed. I just had time to grab my tea pot and cup. This kettle is the perfect size for me, as all the other electric kettles I purchased were larger. I also strongly recommend the Hiware 32oz Stovetop Safe Glass Teapot with Removable Infuser for use with the SUNDUO Electric Kettle. This set includes a bamboo trivet as well as a warmer sleeve (to fit the customer). A second reviewer complained about the stiffness of the electric cord. The cord may seem stiff, but it is difficult to handle current or amps necessary for the appliance to heat As far as I'm concerned, I have no complaints, and I would recommend it to everyone.
