Not a problem if you use it on a daily basis (this will prevent discoloration or corrosion if you live in a low quality area). When you feel the handle hot at the top, it's actually steam, not the handle, so pour slowly and hold the handle away from the on button while on the handle.

I find it dangerous. No matter how much water is in it, if it is accidentally left on, it will still heat up until it shuts automatically My experience with this kettle has been only average. I've used it for months now and it has been very typical. My hand got burned when I grabbed the handle while going to pick it up this morning. A kettle was accidentally turned on yesterday, and it heated up overnight after it was accidentally on. The unit just continues to heat up even without water in it. I've since tried turning it on without water in it. It is very likely that this kettle could have easily started a fire in your home if I had not discovered the issue as soon as I did.

In the meantime, I attempted to clean both the outside and the inside with a soft sponge and some mild dish soap, but the tarnishing remained. Additionally, it smelled strongly of plastic like other reviews have stated, but I have not been able to get rid of the smell even after boiling water in it and cleaning it numerous.

Due to the fact that the kettles I had in the past all worked, I do not know much about a good one. Having such a cool design is very pleasing to the eye. It looks so cool as you see through the glass, surrounded by the blue light. As far as the price is concerned, this is a good deal. As soon as anything happens, I will provide an update.

We ended up with an excellent product that had a nice, simple design. This product is very easy to use and very easy to maintain. It quickly warms the water and shuts itself off automatically when the water is heated. Rather than stand there and wait for it, I'll go ahead now. Would have liked to know what the temperature was.

As a review reader, I'm constantly on the lookout for new reviews. Based on most of the reviews and pictures this item received, I figured it would make a great purchase. A few years ago, I bought an electric kettle that worked really well. The item I received was clearly defective after I tested it out, as when I looked at the bottom where the water is heated, white moldy stuff appeared. It would not come off no matter how hard I scrubbed. took it upon myself to ask After a few days, I received my replacement and the box the item came in barely had a top (it was ripped and broken, so I figured it was probably a return since it looked like it had water stains). After washing and drying, I put it in a bag. As well as testing this replacement, I also tested the original. Regardless of the outcome, both cases had the same outcome. It appeared again that white mold was responsible for the spots. It's a shame that I got 2 defective items, but at least it isn't as bad as I thought. I received a refund from Amazon due to their understanding. I am sure this will work for you if this item meets your needs. It's not a good sign when those white spots show up in boiling water. In the event that it appears, do not use it.
