On an overnight date, I picked up a nice little electric hot water kettle. Tea was her favorite beverage, but she was not offered tea in the hotel I have solved the problem! I enjoyed many cups of loose leaf tea during the evening and into the following morning with this tea kettle. I EXPLODED WHILE HEATING IT. The first time I bought it, I thought it was an excellent There are a lot of good reviews about it. I burned my foot when boiling water spilled throughout the house due to the explosion and the leak caused by the glass. Buying is not a good idea. Get a stainless steel kettle instead of a glass one. It is not worth the risk of what happend to mine. I used it for two days before it started happening.

According to the most recent update, dated Before it broke, I only used this kettle twice. I had great success with the kettle the first time I used it. On the second occasion, the handle became very hot and nearly burned my hand. On the third occasion, I heard a loud pop as it was coming to a boil and then realized the kettle had cracked from the handle outward and boiling water was leaking This one is defective, so I received a replacement which I can only hope is not defective as well. I'm satisfied with what I've seen thus far. I am very happy with how the kettle worked when it arrived intact. After 3 minutes, 19 seconds, the water went from boiling to boiling again. There is no need to use a stovetop kettle when using this. It is much faster, cheaper, and more efficient. Water tastes better in a glass container because the container is glass. My coffee tasted completely different when I brewed it with the new grind. Ideal for a quick cup of tea in the morning or to cool down in the afternoon I met over a cup of Having used this product for only one day, I don't know what to say. A great kettle for 1 liter of water! It will cost you around. All other nice glass kettles are considerably more than I needed a 500 ml bottle and this is exactly what I needed! It had the best aesthetics of any 5 liter bottle and works excellently. Using the lid should not be forced and I would suggest being gentle and cautious when handling Upon heating, the blue LED lights up, and a liter of water is boiled in less than 5 minutes! Absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it.

Whenever you decide to review something, it's much easier to write a review if the blue lights are why you bought the kettle in the first place. The OXO stove top tea kettle I have works great for tea, but not when it comes to pour-over coffee because it drips all over the counter when I use it. In the end there was only one thing left to do. . . buy a blue LED-lit electric glass kettle. The kettle satisfies my desire for the eclectic, as well as my desire to have a novelty appliance in my kitchen. It works well, but only with a small problem. Upon picking it up, it's heavy and has a solid feel. It boils water fast and in a timely fashion. Normally, I don't like too much clutter on my counters, but this kettle earned its place. Multiple times a day, it is used. I'll be able to boil water in a few minutes from tap water.

For the first two weeks, it was a great kettle! I thought at first it was rusty or moldy, but it then became tarnished. This was caused by pitting, the metal plate changing from being heated, and small bubbles visible in the bottom of the plate. My first attempt to clean it with vinegar failed after one day, since the pitting started almost immediately. Moreover, cleaning it with vinegar caused my water to taste like vinegar for two days, even after boiling it multiple times.
