My machine has been with me for 4 months, and I use it every single day. After years of experience as a Starbucks barista, I wanted a quality dual machine that would be easy to clean. I really like that the drip machine has a reusable coffee Having an espresso is a wonderful experience for me. As others have pointed out, my only complaint is the water drip tray (I'm a neat freak so this isn't a big deal to me) and the fact that the espresso drip does not automatically turn off, you have to turn it off. I don't think this is a huge deal but it would be great if it was included. It serves both purposes great, and I would recommend this dual-purpose machine to anyone in need of a coffee maker. My boyfriend, who had no experience making coffee beverages before using this machine, uses this machine every morning to make perfect lattes. My favorite way to make copies is to use the espresso side Coffee drinks from Starbucks, shaken and iced cat. might also buy a fancier tamper as well.

This drip coffee maker has good drip coffee quality, but has some shortcomings in the espresso side. Other cheaper machines do not seem to have pressure issues resulting in overflows, but pressure overflows fill up the drip pan on the more expensive machines. The distance between the espresso carafe and the base is too short for a normal cup. I have to use either a tea cup or my espresso shot glass. * There is no timer, so finding out where to have the coffee automatically start every morning is not possible. The display for the coffee pot has developed an issue in which the bold light continuously flashes when it is I'm not satisfied with it so I'm looking for a replacement. I think it's overpriced, and lacks basic features for something so expensive.

Two days later, this unit was delivered. When I used the device for the first time, I found that the function "making drip coffee" didn't work, while the function "espresso" did. The Delonghi customer service department contacted me twice by chat and twice by phone, and as a result, the unit was returned. The customer service representative was very helpful however, the unit had a defect. I bought a coffee machine from a different brand today.

With only a coffee in the package, it was okay to choose this option. My main purpose of purchasing this machine was the espresso side. I wanted an Italian creme rich espresso with an in-line steam froth wand.
I may have had 5 cups total, but sadly I wasted a lot more from my initial misunderstanding! Although I understand the light tamping of the grass, I do not agree with it. The light is very strong. My understanding is that there is a lot of grinding to be done. The grind is wasted, so the proper grind is wasted. It's all right. My personal taste isn't the same as yours! The 15 bar may have been too weak to handle the load. I sounded as though it was undersized for the task. Could the 9 bar be a good choice? It's disappointing to see a good name like Delonghi treated in this way. It was very pleasant to have the opportunity to taste espresso. My philosophy is that I don't waste anything.
