I was disappointed with these. It was my expectation that they would be thicker and more durable because they were similar to popsicle sticks, but they were not. If you stir coffee or some other liquid, these wouldn't be a good choice. While you might find that they're helpful in spreading something on or for fine detail work, you will be unable to reuse them. There are bamboo stirrers that can be purchased for a little bit more money that can be reused to stir the drink for a little longer, so I would not recommend them.
In a large plastic bag, the products were not properly packaged to be used as food contact surfaces. As I took ten sticks to inspect them, I found they had been bent, splintered, and one of them was only half its length. The quality of the product is poor. There's no chance of food contact with this product.
As soon as I took some out of the bag, I got a splinter. There are a lot of sharp shards sticking out of every one of them. Shavings and debris from the wood fall off of them when touched, so I wouldn't feel safe using them in a drink. I immediately put all the objects back into the bag and returned As a matter of fact, I even took photos that I wish I could upload so that you can see.
It is insufficient for a product that is meant to come into contact with food, such as these stirrers. I immediately sent back the product since the very thin plastic packaging was open when it arrived. The stirrer that I looked at before returning gave me a picture of a beach Tea and coffee stirrers are certainly enough to mix tea and coffee, but there are sturdier ones as well. After being able to find different stirrers that were properly packaged and sealed, I decided to purchase them.
This is what I use for mixing honey in As soon as I stir the honey, I notice a woody taste leaking into the tea if I do not use the stir stick for a few seconds to get the honey stirred up. As long as the stirrer is wooden, that doesn't seem to matter. The best alternative to using plastic is to use paper.
There are two ways to wash your silverware either wash it over and over again, or grab a stirrer and use it, then toss it. A mess is not necessary.
The sides are not smooth. When you consider how many you are getting for that price, it's hard to beat. A con is that the sides are not smoothed down so you have to be careful not to damage the wood by breaking in splinters. To fix it, I go in with a pair of scissors or a pair of pairing knives. The quality of the product you buy is determined by the price. Even though the side is not quite smooth like in the photos, I still wish it were.
My family is trying to reduce the amount of plastic used and disposed of in our home, so I purchased these. Although the bag is very large and will take a long time to use, I believe it is very important for the.
