Originally I was worried about buying this due to reviews saying it doesn't measure a correct teaspoon, but now I received it and it's perfect. I filled 3 of my short teaspoons with water and then transferred the water to the new spoon and they all measured the same. The reason I was concerned was because I would be using it to measure spa chemicals, so I wanted to make sure it was precise. This will work well for reaching into the tall bottles of chemicals, for which I could not use my ordinary teaspoon.
This is completely out of left field how they asked me to rate the accuracy of the The accuracy of your estimate is only as good as your own. Anyway, I guess. It's nice I don't have to get my hands dirty in coffee grounds anymore. on I don't give up I drink cold brew a few times a week (using a half gallon) and semi-regularly for friends and family This machine has been in high demand for my wife (a few refillable k cup pods per week) and I appreciate having a big scoop to knock against the grinder cup and eliminate The shorter scoop, plastic scoop, and many knocks are needed to get it all to the bottom of the bag.
I don't typically dig to the bottom of ground coffee bags with this, but I have and it works very well. If you scoop coffee, you'll definitely want to try this. The following scoop should be the standard for everyone.
For me, it was not a good item, but it might be a good item for some others. you'd like a long scoop for your cupboard, go ahead and get one. Despite its rustic appeal and crude polish, the steel is quite well made. The handle appears to be soldered to the cup, and is rather thick, giving it a bit of an awkward balance. Though it is not what is shown in the picture. It was heavier than I wanted, so for my purposes, I returned it and got a titanium large spoon.
The ability to reach the bottom of coffee bags without having to stick my hand halfway down the bag is a nice convenience for me. The engineer (engineer from the United States) didn't have the common sense to engrave 1 tablespoon. Would it work if an F was engraved on the handle rather than a circle? Apart from that, the handle is very strong and will not bend unless it is deliberately bent. Measurements like these are accurate, right? It seems unnecessary to be that precise for home use, and I am not sure if it is.
As opposed to keeping coffee in a bag, I keep it in a tall jar. It is easy to take out the amount I need with the scoop because it is extra long. I am not positive if the measurements are 100% accurate, but that isn't really that important. The container provides the precision I'm looking for and I get more accurate results than when I used to pour from a jar. A device like this is one of those things you don't realize you need until you have it.
Due to the fact that I am not too concerned about its accuracy, I haven't checked the measurements. To get to the bottom of 1/2 gal mason jars and other packages, I didn't want to have to get my hands dirty. There's no better way to do However, it is heavier than I expected or even would have liked, however, that is what makes it more appealing. There is no way to destroy it. If you take good care of it, it will last a lifetime. I know that it's more of a specialty item and not everyone needs an extra long heavy strudy scoop, but for those who want the option, this is it. It's a decision that won't disappoint you. To use in the large fabric dye containers, I will be getting another one.
It was impossible for me to find a scoop with a shorter handle, so I bought this. In a pinch, this will be perfect for grabbing the bottom of a coffee bag, but it is a bit cumbersome when looking for something shorter. An inch and a half is the most convenient size scoop, and it appears well made.
The metal is solid and thick, therefore it won't get flimsy and will not bend or become misshapen regardless of how easily you bend it, and it is just for coffee grounds, not a lot of weight will be pulled on it.
